How valued a soldier and his family feels begins with what they have in their pocket at the end of the month. For the last six years, forces personnel have seen pay rises of just 1% - which are instantly eradicated by increases to accommodation charges." We all want to leave now poor pay and poorer pensions poor prospects

We were credible, but now we are a joke. If you are thinking of joining the Army and want a career that you feel you are being invested in. Don't join the Army. The worst pensions in 35 years. CUTS CUTS CUTS. Big sacrifice pay restraint year after year. Uncertainty is killing our spirit and drive. the staffing levels are pathetic, recruitment is a massive failure. But they will not listen or recognize the damage they are doing and will do in 2020 NEM.

How wrong you were Peter Wall . UK defence has been CUT to sickeningly small proportions since 2010 under the guise of reformation. Pensions, Pay, Promotion, Progression, Morale , Retention, and Recruitment have all died a death in 2018/19. The Armed Forces Continues Attitude Survey 2018 show catastrophically dyer results. There is just one thing to do now leave as there is no joy left in the job for almost all of the service personnel left. I could never have imagined it would be so bad and as futile as it is today. We got no hope now Mr Hammond.
