During the beginning of March of last year, as I was going into my junior year of college and the Covid-19 crisis was happening, I was devastated by what was going on. On a personal note, before all this craziness happened, I lost my grandfather and several family members and loved ones to cancer many years ago. I also had 13 major surgeries, but I am healed now. My mom also survived a battle with breast cancer. And during those times, I thought that there was something missing in my life. I would miss my grandfather and I still think of him a lot, but I wanted somebody that would remind me of him and someone that I could relate to as a role model. I prayed to the Lord as I was watching what was going on. I did not like what was happening, especially with the current man in the White House, whose name I will not mention. What he has done to our country these last few years made me cry and I needed somebody to comfort me and somebody that also had the same values and morals that I was raised on. I needed someone to tell me that everything was going to be okay and put God first before everything else in his life. That's when the Lord sent this man and his family into my life. Last March was when Joseph Robinette Biden Jr, Jill, and the rest of the Biden family walked into my life for the first time. He has done so many things for me over the years including organizing a trip to Washington D.C. for me when I was 10 years old. Sometimes whenever I have a rough day after school, or just in general, to escape the news about COVID-19 or the division that has been going on in the world, or when I'm crying, I come to RUclips and I watch videos of him just to hear his voice, which makes me calm and feel better. I also enjoy listening to him read and tell stories because that's what my grandfather did for me when I was little. I'm thinking about maybe following in Joe's footsteps in the future and taking the same career path that he did. And now he's going to become the 46th President of the United States! I cannot wait to follow him and Kamala Harris on their journey in the White House in 17 days. I am praying that Joe and I will be able to meet when this is all over. I will give him the biggest hug on the planet when it is safe to do so. I also want to tell him about what he's meant to me and how he helped this young woman through this dark time. I can relate to him in many ways including facing many obstacles in my life. Joe taught me to never give up on my dreams and to keep pushing hard. As his father used to say: "When you get knocked down Joey, get up." And his mother always used to tell him: "No one's better than you, and you're better than nobody." I will never forget those words from Joe's parents and when he quotes them in his speeches, I feel like he's passing those words on to me. I hope to spend a whole day with him where we can just talk and get to know each other and become friends. Maybe I can help him and Kamala out a little bit. And yes, our day has to involve pasta and ice cream, LOL! You never know, maybe I'll end up working for him in the future, we'll see what happens! Thanks for always being there for me Joe, you are a gift from God. I cannot wait to see where the Lord will take us both as He brings us together hopefully soon. I pray that we will be friends in the years to come. And I'm looking forward to coming along with you during your four years in The White House starting on January 20th. I don't see him as just the President-Elect, but a kind and compassionate man who has empathy for others. I am looking forward to the day when he and I will finally meet face to face and then I can tell him these words: "You are my favorite President in the whole world, I love you."

It doesn't get more classy , more capable , more able to be President then Joe Biden. And while I'm not gonna stoop to the haters below or worse call them out , my perspective is not based on my opinion. It's based on real Time experience. I come from a staunchly Republican family in Texas with our family heritage dating back to 1899 and written about in the Texas Heritage Hall of Fame. This is simply background info to make my point. I was accepted into Syracuse College of Law and didn't have a roommate. Beau Biden was also looking for same. Dean paired us up. Pairing a Republican from Texas with a Democrat from Delaware would provide even the most optimistic folks a reason and chuckle over how many days this roommate arrangement would last. Beau and I got along famously well and were aligned on almost every material social issue back in the day. Fast forward to Easter. We had Good Friday off and that's it. My initial plan was fly home. That meant a flight from Syracuse to LaGuardia . LaGuardia to DFW. DFW to Amarillo by morning to borrow a phrase from George Strait. In short , it would take all day to get home. Vice President Biden sent word to Beau that rather then spend all Good Friday in airports , I was welcome to spend all Easter with the Biden family. That is classy beyond classy. What could I do for Joe Biden in return. Zero. I was a law student. There was nothing I could give. Not only that. I was Republican. To be President and garner world wide respect , it's imperative that a person be just as comfortable having breakfast with Wall Street folks and then having either the humility or willingness to be just as comfortable having dinner under a bridge with the homeless. Nobody is born with that level of heart but though the fires of affliction, a person may become bitter or better like Joe Biden. Before President Obama picked him for Vice President, this is a man that commuted on or about 300 mikes a freaking day so he could see his kids and Jill at night. Other Senators called him Blue Collar Joe for doing so. He wasn't chasing pussy like so many other Senators do on the Hill. But Hillary knows just as much about chasing pussy as her husband. I have zero problem with homosexuality or lesbians. It doesn't make me feel less masculine to say that I think gays should have all the constitutional rights as me as a straight person. But the way I was raised in Texas , if you're married like Hillary and chasing pussy , that's a God damn affair. That's pure unadulterated cheating. If she wants to eat pussy , get a divorce and don't suggest to the American people you're a person of the highest character. That would be Joe Biden land. Hillary not on same level. I don't know if Trump will be a good President or not. I'm damn sure not gonna make profound predictions like our media. It's that Beau's death happened at the exact time Joe would have to mount a Presidential campaign. There's only so much loss a man or anyone can take. I unapologetically love Joe Biden and what his life has done to inspire millions. This is a guy that will be in the Presidential Motorcade from Wilmington to D.C. And he'll observe a woman stranded on the road crying while smoke billows out of her engine and Joe will have Secret Service call a tow company. Or AAA in nearby to go assist her and oh by the way if she can't afford the repair on her car , have the bill forwarded to him at the White House. That's a true story I am privy to. No he's not walking on water. But neither is anyone else. Hillary has zero character to demand respect from world leaders or most reasonable people in America, unless those admirers don't have the awareness that media folks can hardly be expected to be truthful. As for Trump , at best we can speculate. To supersede speculating , you are either just stupid or you're psychic. With Joe , there's no speculating. There's no doubt about his character..,about his heart. He's proven that with actions. And I've been blessed to be a beneficiary of his gracious and heart felt view of living life on life's terms.
