YESSS! My first FPV video is finally here! After only 3 days of practicing in the simulator I decided to take this bad boy out and test it in real world and here's the result.
Meet DJI AVATA: a palm-sized and super agile FPV drone with a built-in propeller guard!
This drone is so easy to fly even for those people that are completely new to FPV.
This drone shoots incredibly smooth videos in up to 4K60 (all the footage is straight out of the drone, not stabilized, as with RockSteady/HorizonSteady there's no need to do any post processing stabilization, it's really that good!) and the new DJI Goggles V2 are smaller, lighter and very comfortable to use, offering an unique FPV experience.
Thanks to its smaller size and the built-in propeller guard I was able to push things a bit further and take some really cool and unique shots that you can see in this video.

bravo, traditionally the highest level. 👍👍 Even with an FPV drone you can make great recordings. But either you've spent the last few weeks intensively or you've had this drone for a long time, there are so many beautiful locations here!

Dude practices for 3 days in a game, then creates a thrilling visual joyride! Let's also note the huge amount of sound design work put into this. Some people don't realize that drones don't capture sound. This guy had to recreate every instance of noise in this!

I'm not a fan of FPV video but damn, you put the drama in matic with these shots. I think of all the people making great videos you will maximize this drone for your work like adding that special ingredient in a master dish. Nicely done!

That’s exactly what I wanted to do for such a long time now…I’m not a big fan of all those “cinematic fpv videos” that you see on youtube, where people just drag one single shot for 3 minutes without any story or anything, but I think that adding some unique fpv shots to a good cinematic video to help tell a better story and make the viewer feel more engaged is what makes a difference.

Hey Denis, how do you like the Avata compared to your Mini 3 pro? I consider the Avata, but it’s almost twice as expansive then the Mini 3 pro. Amazing video, thanks!
If I had to bring one with me on a hike or a trip, it would probably be the Avata, mainly because you’re able to get some cool and unique fpv shots while still being able to just switch to Normal/Sport mode and fly it like any other drone, so you get the best of both worlds.
But if you’re looking mainly for the best image quality for both videos and photos, then go for the mini 3.
@@DenisBarbas I have DJI FPV unboxed. Im kind of sad whether I should use the DJI FPV or get AVATA. But I already own DJI Mini 3 pro. What do you suggest?
@@DenisBarbas Thank you a lot for the answer. I don't care much about pictures, just video. But I also do freelance videography and wonder wether the Mini 3 isn't more of a "professional" drone. As they have the same sensor, does the mini 3 really have better quality? Does the f2.8 make a difference? Shouldn't a more stepped down aperture actually be sharper? But yes, the dual native ISO makes the Mini a fair bit better I guess...
@@siemore They don't have the same sensor. The Mini 3's sensor is larger and has the larger aperture. I have both drones, and the video quality of the Mini 3 Pro is better.
