VoicePlay are sometimes called the Theater Kids of Acapella. Which describes them well, though they don't always do theatrical perfoemances, they're just as good sitting or standing around singing. :)

They live in Orlando Florida and most if not all of them have performed at Disney parks and Universal Studios. Universal Studios used to have a show called the Beetlejuice Rock and Roll Graveyard Review, and several of them appeared in that show at various times. ( Geoff and his wife Kathy played Frankenstein and the Mrs., Tony (prior baritone and Layne’s partner at Pattycake Productions) played Dracula, J played Wolfman). So showmanship is a big part of their work. Another new subscriber here so maybe will meet that goal

Yes, it is Layne’s nephew. They enjoyed getting their family involved when they can. Santa was played by Geoff’s brother-in-law in the Oogie boogie song. And his eyes turned greenish at the end.

@@KaireemReactions The song the Headless Horseman was in a 1950’s Disney cartoon called the Legend of Sleepy Hollow. So it’s not as well known as a lot of the other songs they have done (except for really old people like me who actually watch the cartoon as a kid!). This was the first Halloween one he did on his own and it was just he and his wife and it was done in his parents living room. It is still one of my favorites.
You should check out Cakra Khans covers of Tennessee whiskey, its a man's world, and take me to church.....he is an amazing singer you won't be disappointed!
Yeah, I don't know how many times I watched this before I saw the comment that the kid's eyes turn like a green color just before the video ends,. was a little too subtle for me after all the awesomeness of the rest of the video.
