  • Have you tried the sweet bread with fruits and nuts? I assure you that you will repeat it because it has a super spongy texture and the flavors are exquisite.
    INGREDIENTS:
    200 ml warm milk
    1 egg
    100 g sugar
    Pinch of salt
    Orange zest
    50 ml oil
    4 g dry baker's yeast
    400 g normal flour
    35 g butter
    1 tablespoon inverted sugar
    1 tablespoon orange blossom water
    Sugar
    100 g walnuts
    Candied orange
    Raisins
    Red and green cherries
    1 yolk
    1 tablespoon milk
    PREPARATION:
    Put the egg and sugar in a bowl and mix. Add the warm milk and the yeast and stir.
    Add the orange zest and oil. Add the inverted sugar and the orange blossom.
    Finally, add the flour and a pinch of salt and knead until you get a well-worked dough, but somewhat soft.
    We cover it with cling film and let it double in volume.
    We degas the dough and spread it out into a rectangle, using a little oil on our hands and spreading the soft butter all over the surface.
    We sprinkle plenty of sugar over the surface and add the walnuts, candied orange, raisins and cherries all over the surface. We roll the dough into a cylinder and with a knife we ​​cut it in half lengthwise without cutting completely at one end.
    We start by taking one end and we roll it up on itself until we finish at the opposite end, having formed a snail.
    We put the snail inside a mould greased with butter on the sides and with baking paper on the bottom and cover it with cling film until it doubles in volume.
    Once it has fermented, we brush it with a mixture of egg yolk and milk.
    Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and place the bread in the middle of the oven for about 43 minutes, lowering the heat to 170 degrees.
    Remove and allow to cool before unmolding.
