I just got a YuXin Treasure Box a few days ago. Mine can only open (i.e., I can only press the center down) when the top layer is turned 45 degrees. Also, watching other videos, I learned you can still open it if the corners of the white layer are not solved. ALSO, I learned that you should not force turn it to make the center pop back up because that could break it. Instead, lift up the corners of the layers.

So I have a blinding eye condition called XLRS, and for the the two years ish I have been learning Braille. That “backwards L shape is a number indicator. Just wanted to share that

To rotate the top Center counterclockwise and the front Center clockwise do the sexy move but replace the R/R’ moves with M’/M moves. To rotate the top Center 180° do (R U’ R’ U’)5.

The unsolved Yuxin Treasure Box will not look normal between your collection of cubes which are all solved
You can do the Alg from the 4x4 parity egde flip and solve it and it will turn the center piece 1 time

I know this was 2 hrs ago, but if you like the feel of the 1x1 try Z cube’s glow in the dark 3x3! It looks like it has the same texture, which I also love! And it turns pretty well, for one that’s not a speed cube :)

Usually, to rotate the center, I do 3 Ua/Ub perms.

i actually have that 1x1, i put it in my car like those dice ornaments
Use u r' f r until it solves again to turn center twice and use u r' b' r until it solves again to turn center once. Have the center you want to turn on top or in font for first ans top or back for second.
