The King of Fighters XV[a], also called KOF XV, is a fighting game developed by SNK. It was released on February 17, 2022, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. This is also the first game in The King of Fighters series created using Unreal Engine 4, and the first to implement GGPO rollback networking. while an arcade version will be published by Bandai Namco Amusement under the title The King of Fighters XV: Arcade Edition. Taking place after the events of The King of Fighters XIV, the narrative primarily revolves around two fighters with multiverse-related supernatural powers, Shun'ei and Isla, among other returning heroes facing revived threats. King of Fighters XV generally received praise for its character roster, team-based gameplay, and smooth online performance, but criticism for its story mode, complex tutorials, and mechanics. Player criticism has mainly been directed to the game's inability to find matches within a short period of time.

KOF '95 was the very first Playstation game I ever owned. It's crazy to see not only that the franchise is still alive, but that all 6 of these characters have become legends!

Back in the days was a machine in my neighborhood we used to put coins and was the king of fighters 2000 with zero battle final was literally a wonderful times lol😂
KOF should have stayed in 2D. High definition quality 2D in modern era. Make it look like beautiful 2D animation with depth form that will please lots old fans. 3D was never the reason we love KOF characters. Their illustrations were superb. The whole team when off to a wrong direction for years.
Then play the old ones, it's been like that for years as well. I feel like something in the series has to change and this seems to be pretty good here

@@Salem-rh9tq At this moment we have seen lots 2D games from DragonballZ, Naruto and One Piece that are just amazing that represent how good quality can be that 3D isn't the only option for style.

The new style of 3D looks a tad too generic and doesnt even come close to Street Fighter anymore. I will give it more time but KoF 13 was the most impressive by far even today. Cant wait for City of Wolves though

Why the graphics looks dull?
sometimes when you record on ps5 it gives a white/grayish filter on top of recording and there is absolutely no reason I know of why that happens

kof e street fighter classicos são mais bonitos e melhores realmente, esse “up“ nos graficos só torna o jogo bobo e distancia dms do que ja foi.
tekken e mk sempre tiveram essa pegada +/-, não fugiram muito do que realmente são e por isso é aceitavel.

Street fighter remove control play style ,back front ,below half turn ,back half turn etc .
Going to some shitty, scuffed 3D models literally killed the franchise. This looks like a game that was made 15 years ago.

Onestamente anche se i personaggi sono completamente 3D sono abbastanza deluso dalle animazioni dei personaggi la cosa che più mi a colpito trovo siano gli sfondi animati nonostante stiamo parlando di un gioco che gira su PS5 per me e molto più bello e si lascia preferire immediatamente di più la versione di the king of fighters all stars per cellulare che infatti non a caso a raggiunto un successo tale che il gioco è stato trasposto anche su PC.

Most people grew up playing Street Fighter, Tekken, Guilty Gear etc but this is the first fighting game franchise I’ve played and while I do miss having the 2D sprites, I never get bored playing. This is definitely one you must play if you love fighting games.

Can’t believe this is the newest kof game. Since street fighter went 3D everything just looks like a childish cartoon. The 2D was so right for these games and not for tekken and soul calibur. I do however enjoy samurai showdown even though I never played the 2D ones but still something about the ugly shading in the edges just ruins the flow. I can’t take it seriously. If remakes can be done well then why not for the older versions of these games? Anyway just an old man talking don’t mind me 😅 but still sf6 is my favourite so I’ll just put my nostalgia glasses away for a while.

You can slap as much technology onto an absolute classic like King of Fighters. This game's design is inferior to it's predecessors like KOF 96, 97, 98 and 2001 etc. This is a bad imitation of the KOF genre.
