430 years was from Abraham leaving Ur to the Exodus, and the 400 years is the time from the birth of Isaac to the Exodus. Not only do the Septuagint, Qumran, and Samaratin Pentateuch clear this up, but so does the New Testament. 1 Kings 6:1 is also incorrect in the Masoretic text, it’s 440 years, not 480 which definitely agrees best with the now accepted timeline for Amenhotep II who I agree was the Pharaoh of Exodus. For such a smart man I would have expected him to catch this.

My original comment had a typo...... If Moses is born in 1526BC that means Thutmose lll would be born 20 year's later 1506BC...... 1486BC Moses would be 40 the age he killed an Egyptian, Thutmose lll a young 20 year old..... with military prowess, would cause good reason for Moses to leave Egypt until Thutmose lll died in 1450BC.... Placing his younger son Amenhotep ll on the throne..... 4 year's later 1446BC would be the year of the exodus..... Amenhotep ll would make the mold of a young care free pharaoh trying to live up to his father's success..... the numbers almost line up perfectly according to the scriptures........ Many sources and scholars date the battle of Jericho around 1400BC......so the 40 years in the wilderness is accounted for.... Roughly 350 years during time of the Judges with Samuel anointing Saul as King 1050BC.... I agree with you when they try to imply its Ramses ll. When Abraham rescued Lot, after he was taken captive, the city of Zoar apparently was called Bela. When recording about the King of Bela it was written that currently it was called Zoar. I think that this happens fairly often in Biblical writings, to help the current reader at the time identify a more ancient location's name.

@@loricalass4068 This vid is total bull. Says a lot about you and other Christians who let the church rape your children by the millions. Archeologists have conclusively proved the exodus never happened. The bible says 400,000 Hebrew men followed Moses and wandered the Sinai for 40 years. Where are their campsites? Where are their graves? Finding that would be evidence, instead of the utter bull displayed here. The Mycenaeans, the Hittites, the Assyrians, and the Egyptians say absolutely nothing about Israel. Archeologists have determined that Israel was never an empire. They found it was a confederation of 300 small towns in the hills of Judea, not a great empire. I suggest you read real archeologists if you are interested in the truth. They concluded that the Hebrew priests who returned from Babylon, in the fifth cent BCE, made up the story.

Also, who took over after Joseph died in Egypt, did Joseph's sons, Manaseh or Ephraim, or did the sons of Joseph's brothers take over rule in Egypt and for how long? Who (of the Israelites)was ruling over Egypt at the time the Egyptians rebelled agains Israelite rule?

These people get stuck on a theory and then have difficulty seeing something new.

The Hittites, personified in Vatican, sent the Esauites, personified in the State of Israel, to take Hebron in the 6 days war June 6-11 1967. The reason was to secure the MUMMIFIED remains of Abraham, David and other Patriarchs and Matriarchs of God's chosen. As an aside, we know the DNA of many, many plants and animals yet, since 1967 we know nothing about the; DNA, blood type, hair, skin color of how those mummies looked with enhanced technological re-construction. However, we have the PAN Demic (What does "Pan" mean? What does "Demic" Mean?) Then Omicron (what does "omicron", spelled backwards, mean in Hebrew?) and COVID (what does "covid" spelled backwards mean in Hebrew?). Now we have the mRNA gene therapy, reconfiguring the DNA God gave us to DNA created by Satan! The mRNA will attack those of the seed of Abraham??? What does "Fauci" mean? What implement does the Grim Reaper hold? What "Gates" Bill of? Gates of Hell or Heaven? Your thoughts would be appreciated. Hardly. They are to a man and woman secular unbelievers and do everything to ignore evidence and try to DISPROVE it. They actually go so far as to state that if it took place, it would have been in the 1200's BC and not the 1450's BC according to Biblical chronology. Then, relieved of having to look at the right time period, they look at the wrong time period (which they assure us is the correct one) and surprise! They cannot find one at that time, and then assure us that the whole thing was a myth.....which happened 200 or so years AFTER the Bible said...but didn't actually happen. Now as bizarre as this may seem, I myself was amazed at the facts about it. In fact its so strange that some of the most prominent ones ACTUALLY make statements that PROVE the Bible correct, while citing these as proof AGAINST the Bible. One example is archeologist Norma Franklin who says that the conquerings of Canaan during Joshua's time occurred over too long a time- more than a hundred years , for it all to be during Joshua's lifetime, thus disproving the Bible. But in fact that's EXACTLY how the Bible describes the length of time for instance in Joshua 13: 1-6. which plainly states that when Joshua was old that much conquering remained, and then gives a laundry list of places yet to be conquered. These people find what they want, claim it disproves the Bible, and even then unwittingly prove it true. Another example is the documentary Patterns of Evidence which shows all the logical exclusions and mental gymnastics one has to go through to accept these various archeological finds as disproving the Bible.

That makes no sense. In Egypt there remained many ancient Jewish communities well after the Exodus period. There were Jewish people living there making it plausable that some Jews left. There are papyrus accounts of Jewish servants and slaves. There is a Hebrew inscription in a cave or mine, begging God to relieve an enslaved man's suffering.
There are paintings of Egyptian overseers with whips, supervising slaves. The Bible is accurate in that bricks were made from straw and mud.

    (19 September 2023, 10:40 a.m.)
Currently 1530 BC is a popular date for the expulsion of the Hyksos.
This date does not align with a circa 1446 BC date for the Exodus based on 1 Kings 6:1 mention of 480 years from Exodus to the building of Solomon's Temple.
Not very well known to many, however, two Egyptologists, who identify themselves as Christian Apologists, Professors James K. Hoffmeier and Kenneth A. Kitchen, independent of each other, toted up the number of years of rule from Joshua, the Judges, Saul, David, and Solomon, and concluded the Bible erred!
It was not 480 years from the Exodus to the Temple's building by Solomon, it was over 600+ years!
This 600+ years aligned the Exodus with the Hyksos period of Egypt!
Despite this extraordinary finding, both Hoffmeier and Kitchen, then trashed this Hyksos alignment, opting for a 1260 BC Exodus based on the mention of a store city called Ramesses, built by the Israelites, which, for them is the city of Pi-Ramesses of Pharaoh Ramesses II.

Thank you Dr. Petrovich. I love your work. I just disagree with you on one point...Your choice for the Pharaoh "who did not know Joseph" was Ahmose I. That Pharaoh finished the enslavement of the Hebrews, but he didn't have the first attempt. Assuming the Hebrews and the Hyksos are synonymous, the first Hyksos expulsion was done by Pharaoh Tao, Ahmose I's father. His father failed to enslave them and died in battle. Then they're army was rebuilt during the five year reign of Ahmose I's brother Kamose, then toward the end of Ahmose I 's reign was the second Hyksos expulsion that completed the enslavement of all who weren't driven out of the land. So Ahmose I didn't know Joseph either, but he wasn't the first. He simply finished what his father started. I think that shows why they feared the Hebrews would take THEM over, since it took multiple attempts to enslave them, they were essentially equal in strength.

Dr. Petrovich, re: the Ezbet Rushdi stele. Where it states , Sa-Sobek/Joseph is , controller of the city,;. If this was inside a cartouche, would that then indicate, pharaoh? ..and, is *that* why we know , this man is not pharaoh ? Thank you.

He bases his assumption that Sa-Sobek is Joseph. If you remove the bible story, there is no way of knowing who Sa-Sobek is. He is being bias because he wants his explanation to be the right one. If you can't prove Sa-Sobek is Joseph, then his whole story falls apart.

There is one important historical event that is the destruction of Jericho. Archeological evidence can pinpoint this event in history.

I find this presentation very interesting. HOWEVER, it CONTRADICTS God's words to Abraham.
1: " they willb be AFFLICTED for 400 years" when did the affliction begin? Exodus 1 8-11 clearly states that the affliction of the Israelites began WHILE THEY WERE IN EGYPT and if the affliction, as God said to Abraham, lasted for 400 yrs, then they were in Egypt FOR AT LEAST 400 yrs not the 215 that is being thrown around.
2: know of a surety, that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is NOT THEIRS.From this presentation, we are made to believe that a part of the 430 years spoken of in Exodus 12: 40 took place in Canaan. I find this interesting as Canaan BELONGED TO the seed of Abraham as spoken by God in Genesis 13:14-15 BEFORE he told him that his seed would sojourn in a land " that is not theirs" . It means therefor, that since Canaan belonged to Abraham and his seed, no time spent in Cannan could be counted in the 430 years sojourn.
    PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTIONS!!!❤❤❤❤

To explain a theory by saying scribes changed the bible to make that theory fit, think about it, means anything in the bible is nonsense. Take it as written!! Look for evidence that backs up what's written.

According to the chronology of biblical events that God's word, the Bible, reveals
Abraham lived from 2111 until 1936 BC,
{2036 BC Confirmation in Galater 3,17

{336 years of peace +114 years of oppression

And afterward they desired a king:
and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin,
by the space of forty years {1096-1056 BC}.
And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will

During this time the wall will be completed.
    Later, Esra's lecture awakens hearts.
The Feast of Tabernacles is celebrated, daily reading, fasting and confession.
    [Neh 1, 2] [Neh 2, 1] [Neh 5, 14] [Neh 6, 15] [Neh 8] [Neh 9, 3]
According to Neh 5, 14 Nehemiah is on leave and from 445 - 433 BC (for 12 years) governor of Judea.
The 69 year-weeks up to the Messiah
A daily week has seven days.
A year week has seven years.
    69 year-weeks contain 69 x 7 = 483 years.
The year is counted with 360 days.
This results, among other things, from the information about the last, the 70th week of the year, in Revelation 11, 2-3.
There, half of the last week of the year (3 1/2 years) is given as 42 months or 1260 days (Rev 11, 2.3).
A complete year-week of 7 years therefore has twice as many days:
    1260 x 2 = 2,520 days;
    or 42 x 2 = 84 months,
    or 84 / 12 = 7 years.
If a year week counts 2,520 days,
    then 69 year weeks count 2,520 x 69 = 173,880 days.
The conversion of the 173,880 days
into years to 365 or 366 days
The Jews did not need a conversion into our calendar at that time. However, if we want to understand the information according to our calendar, we have to take the trouble to convert the years from 360 days to years of 365 or 366 days, so that we can get the desired result in our calendar.
The 173,880 days equal 476 years and 140 days:
    173,880 days / 365 days = 476.3836 years = 476 years plus 0.3836 years x 365 = 140 days.
(Nehemiah 2, 1) to the entry of the Messiah into Jerusalem in 32 AD, where the Lord was publicly acclaimed as the Messiah just before he was crucified, exactly 476 years.
