  • A short video of a recent holiday we spent at Agnes Water. We spent a week exploring Agnes Water, 1770 and the surrounding National Parks!
I would highly recommend it if you have not visited before as it has something for everyone. We enjoyed fishing, hiking, kayaking, 4x4ing, swimming and relaxing!

I've been over the creek crossing and the gate was dummy locked about 10 years ago. It's a nice drive but I done most of it after dark. It's a shame that it's locked out to locals but that creek crossing is great to launch a boat at high tide and go through to pancake creek, beautiful place.

Yea was a good spot but the tide was up so no chance of crossing

Anyone got a map link showing the access to the beach from the north side??

The deep Creek crossing is low tide access to middle Island mate. The gate on the other side is also locked so that's as far as it goes without the key 😉 Have to head further north to Turkey Beach/bustard head for the light house. Great video, I'm heading up to middle island this weekend

Nice trip mate. Did ya eat any of the dart? They are not too bad actually. last time I caught em I filleted them, and done the old alfoil bag trick with lemon, ginger and a heap of other herbs and spice. Cooked em over the coals they turned out quite nice. Yeah ya cant go wrong up that way heaps to see and do and plenty of space for everybody. Cheers and happy 2020.

Good video mate, heading up to 1770 come August (2020) I am also from Brisbane it’s been 20 years since last up that way so will be interesting to see how much as changed. I plan to visit Deepwater in the RA50 Pathy to test out the new Tough Dog Suspension with Pirelli Scorpion Plus Tyres. Thinking of getting a new toy (DJI Mavic Air 2) although not that game to do a Pilly drop on its Maiden Voyage for it to end up like the Titanic! Anyway great video with some good advice for the area of Agnes Water and surrounds looking forward to the trip.

Gotta love aerial photography, really shows the area well. That creek crossing has to be done under 1/4 tide I have read, but the gate on the other side is locked anyway. I was up there just last month. The paper bark forest was awesome. And just west of there is Kroombit tops national park, with a short walk to a US WWII bomber crash, "Beautiful Betsy" - a B24 liberator. That was definitely worth the drive to check out. I did a quick little video on that one if you want to check it out for next time you're up that way.

It's a Mavic pro. I think they only sell the Mavic pro 2 now. Good drone and good photo/video quality.

1770 was pretty, but Agnes Waters was a disappointment. Coffs Harbour is much better.
