I havent watched the video yet but I know it's gonna be good. I can't wait to see how Ceave handles Bowser's Kingdom! Edit: Not even five minutes in and I discover that my countless attempts for New Donk City Hall could have been avoided with a new orientation technique. Brilliant! I would've never thought about that. I also completely forgot about how challenging Snow Kingdom was. I have no clue what moons I got to complete it without the Cappy Groundpound technique, but I definitely remember being stuck with two moons left. Also, Rango. Oh boy, Rango. Tough fight right there. I'll continue this once I get to the Bowser's Kingdom part. Edit 2: Oh man, your intro to Bowser's Kingdom hit hard. All the memories. The hours, days, weeks lost trying to control those pokios. The outer wall section took me so long and, to be frank, I wish I would have thought to hit it over the wall. As embarasing as it is, I spent a long time trying to get the Pokio to the wall using the thwomp-like enemies. It was a shame to hear that you couldn't eliminate the Moon Skip input. After you managed to avoid the Dino Skip... WOAH! it seems as though Icay has saved the day! I flipped out when I heard this. I can't believe all the progress you made on this run. Last year I came to the conclusion that it took a required four inputs, but it seems I was wrong. Thank you so much for attempting this run. While I may have been wrong, at least I was incredibly close. Seeing someone go through what I experienced for four months like this was truly a ride and i enjoyed every last second of it.

I did this run early last year and came to the conclusion of 4 required Left Stick Inputs, but ever since Crave made his original video on this the run has gained more traction. I have three videos about it on my channels from around the summer of last year if you need proof.

Actually, cap throws dont count in the toadette counter if you throw cappy near a capture target, making the onky 3 cap throws just to open the door at the wedding chapel.
Pannenkoek2012 has a series of videos on getting various SM64 stars without the joystick... he's gotten 20 of them. I don't know if that's a full list of all the stars that can be gotten joystick-less, but given that SM64 doesn't have as many alternative movement options, I wouldn't hold out my hopes for a full game run. It's certainly a more tedious process than in Odyssey. I'd be very curious about Sunshine, those water physics could be exploited in quite a few ways.
The thing that I absolutely love about your videos is when you mention all the obstacles you had to overcome and then the run ends because of something.. short pause.. BLAST us with mind blowing tricks and show us it is actually possible! Hahaha, I love it.

Lumap Smallant did it well he did no jumps or cap throws and no damage or no coins and jumps and cap throws are the buttons. Maybe even with only the ground pound button because you can roll and dive using motion controls

What is the minimum number of cappy throws required to beat super Mario odyssey
The minimum captures is 13 but i dont know about throws
