Hey everyone just want remind you all that if you are planning on moving to Norway in the nearest future postpone you’re plans until 2021. Due to the Coronavirus you won’t be able to enter Norway.
We may have to postpone our moving to Norway maybe for a much longer period of time because I got strange feeling that great recession is just aroud the corner...
But really...are there any foreigners come into Norway these days?I'm just thinkin'...they are use to having us as cheep labour and could be that they have more worries than we do.
Thank you for your useful information. I have PhD in Neuroscience and working as an Anatomist. Currently, I am looking for the jobs opportunity in Norway. Would be nice if I can get your advice for my case.
Thanks for the information!! I am an american trying to move to norway. Do i need to get a working visa to work in norway? I know i can stay in norway without visa for 3 months but if i find a job within that time do you think i would be able to apply for resident permit or working permit? Do you think you can make video about how to transition to norway from zero ? I dont have any connection in norway but i am glad i found your channel :)
Thank you. I am not 100% sure about the rules for working visa, but that really depends on you're nationality. Nordic countries and EU will have a easier time to work in Norway, but since you are from the USA I a not sure about the rules. You can contact them here. www.udi.no/en/want-to-apply/work-immigration/ UDI = Foreign affairs Any question about working visa they can help you.
Hey, could it be possible for me to just purchase a home in Norway (like a small cottage by the woods) and live there permanently? PS: I don't mind working in Norway as I have a Business Degree majoring in Marketing & Management, and wanted to work at my current county for 10 years experience before moving to Norway (in my early 30's), but getting a job seems difficult as based on what I know recommendations are needed and fluent in Norwegian as well.
