i have to say so far the hardest part was battle phase which is less convoluted then ygo so even the technical stuff was easier to understand so great tutorial so far, i never learned the basics of a anime card game so fast
Quick question, I have some cards that say something like "this character gets +500 for every character" does that mean in play or in my deck? I would think in play but with the wording in not entirely sure.
I might sound silly for asking, but I have a question regarding damage. Say I'm at Level 1 with 5 cards clocked. My opponent calls a character and declares a Direct Attack for 2 soul. When they hit a double soul trigger, that brings my damage to 4 and I don't cancel. Does the excess damage of 2 cards carry over to Level 2, or does my entire Clock get sent to the Waiting Room?
If You already have 5 cards in clock add 2 cards for 2 of the 4 attacks. Pick one card to add to your level, the rest to waiting room. Then add the renaming 2 cards into clock for the remaining 2 attacks. This is done this way because there are some rules that say, "AUTO When your opponent levels up put this card into your waiting room." or others that may AUTO-effect when sent to waiting room. Hope this helps.
At 9:04 with the example of stand by climax in the animation it triggered from the top of the deck and you mention that the effect will work. But isnt stand by only activated when you play it from your hand?
Fun fact, Standby is the only climax trigger that is activated when you play it from your hand (per the card text) and when triggered as part of an attack! This is per Weiss Schwarz Comprehensive rules, section 4.12 (Triggers) subsection 4.12.2.10 en.ws-tcg.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/WeissSchwarz_comprehensive_rules_v1.71-2017.pdf If you want to see this in action, check out the deck tech I just did for the SAO deck I brought to regionals and top 8'd with! ruclips.net/video/6aGjYol2cDc/видео.html
For a video that was made last year, you sure made it feel like watching a video that’s 10+years old. The music and how you filmed just puts me to sleep, i struggle to stay awake to learn to play.
Your videos are literal gold. Bob Ross of Weiss, thank you for your kindness and knowledge
cats love it when we sit down to play cards . Makes it easy for them to keep an eye on us
The cat makes this so much better

In play
Should be fucking obvious
@@powerfulberry237 don’t act like everything in this game is obvious. You’re literally here commenting like a bitch on a ‘how to play’ video . Gtfo !
In play
I think I'll take this game as only buying trial decks/boosters for franchises I like assuming they're affordable (over 100 bucks for Persona?!)
Yeah

@@calebsantos9561 Thank you for the help, this was something that my friends couldn't answer since we all just recently started.

What happens when you deal 7 damage but the opposing player doesn't have the next grade to level up in their clock or hand?
