Why can't I ever get an RD like this? Last round, he refused to blow the borgs because they "didn't do anything yet." They spaced him shortly afterwards.
So, I've blown borgs two times, and as a result both times I got hit up by admins demanding an explanation as to why. When I gave answers like hey they were hurting people, etc I was told by them to not do this, just to lock them down. Apparently, there's a headmin rule thread in the forums about not blowing borgs since there is a lockdown option... Not sure how I feel about the rule BUT if you ever see an RD hesitant to blow a borg, this is probably why.
@@mtzzz3013 As a reporter borg, I had to save a changeling from sec to prevent them from killing him/her. I was blown up pretty much immediately, but no admins asked about it (this is on Fulp). I'm not saying it was unjustified, but rather that the admins don't care about blowing borgs as much.
I like to pretend that epic of a character doesn't stay stranded, they take what remains of the station and build a shuttle to make it back to civilized space

Ganged on an Op with some others, then sacrificed myself to that Nukies minibomb in an effort to save those few other people. I have to commend your robustness. Using a laser pointer as a ranged way of disabling borgs, damn. Keep making videos, these are excellent!
I opened hoping to see an actual RD round, instead I got to witness an amazing display of an RD-Captain flexing the FUCK on both Malf and Nukies the most robust way possible!!!
Man that's almost the exact opposite of a round I had I didn't know it was malf until I saw a regular borg with an esword smashing the bot control computer in my office Unfortunately I had spent the first half of the round equiping a durand with tasers flashbangs and a repair module to bolster our weak security Guess what the malf ai chose to shunt into

Each round has a threat level, and each antag spawn uses some of that threat. A 100 threat round could have 5 wizards, for example. (20 threat per wizard)
What server do you play on, personally I do yogstation and also have quite some time as RD Edit: Fuck yog, TG is the server where it's at, still do RD though
This is SO much easier to record for me like that, and I personally dont like random pop ups in middle of editted video. Usualy I recording it after the round if something important needs to be in it.
AND admins get mad at you when you do it. Which, as RD, feels super shitty and confusing but apparently there is a thread on headmin rules on the /tg/ forum about not blowing borgs so both times I've done it I've been reprimanded by admins. If you ever see an RD hesitant that's probably why (although in this case I'm not sure but just FYI)

I'd probably just fly to the wreck in the whiteship and let them onboard before scooting off back to the Derelict to form a megastation
Stranded doesn't mean much in a universe with teleportation and cloning. It moreso just means it'll be a while before the recovery team shows up.

Laser pointer also makes felinds move a tile. Combine with Lava Staff for better results.
upgrade the laser inside of it to t4 to blind anyone if aimed at eyes, and also stun borgs

Nah you can still blow malf borgs, AI just presumably destroyed the borg console this round.
