Been picking up on the duality theme. Wondering if there is a John Titor esque thing going on with the old computer. Also the backwards f in the food can from the live stream is a programing function, also could be the Korean lol, but obviously the first option makes more sense. I have a theory on what's going on. The canned food seems to be sort of drugged in some way, and seems to affect Dad's thoughts. Think about it for a second. He was thinking on his own, eating the pancakes. But the second Cheryl runs in and feeds him instead, he mellows out and devours the canned food. Is this... some sort of testing of some kind?
I don't think it's actual testing I think what's happening and this is just my thoughts but I think you could put the pieces together if you think about all the previous videos we seen with that little blue orb showing up and causing mischief Cheryl seems to be into neighbor causing a little bit of a riff in between dad and Cheryl's relationship the blue war produces a magazine for Dad that has some explicit content in it Dad Dad doesn't seem to remember having at all but the blue orb telepathically suggests that he's always had this and the neighbor seems to know something as well I think the neighbor is working in unison with the blue orb in a way does somewhat disillusioned dad who is under the effects of canned food what she almost consumes daily after he gets home from work and leaves to go to work the neighbor is supposed to be Cheryl's distraction to make sure she's distracted from Dad and that he's only like a second thought to her he's kind of like bate luring Cheryl in meanwhile the blue orb is trying to use things to get through to Dad that may resurface is actual memories now that I think about it I did leave a comment on that Carl video joking about I'm not being who he says he is but who knows which one is actually dad although I do think the actual dad is the one stalking Nathan and who's outside meanwhile Nathan is probably taking Dad's place and they did seem to hint towards there being two dads in a previous episode as well that's as much as I can put together thinking about what's been happening by far
@@mattmetawolf8634 I agree. And based on the stream recently, Dad has a lot of emphasis of the girl (could be the daughter) saying something among the lines, "Dad, I miss you." This is interesting, because if we go WAY back, we see what looks like memories of some kind when he is swapped with another person. Carl is an interesting character as well, seeming to be a rogue P.I that has been investigating Dad for quite some time, along with Nathan. But I'm just tossing theories in the air.

I think Nathan is a red herring. Dad is brainwashed/ being controlled his human body is the person in the old memories (possibly also called dad)with the woman and in the astronaut ship. Guy landed on alien planet (or was from the alien planet and landed here since they have flying cars and advanced ai that could brainwash a guy) but ultimately by the time he got to earth he was brainwashed by the Aliens/the server? Possibly just humans on another planet. Emily controls the blue orb and is trying to wake dad up to complete some sort of mission but he's stuck doing the RUclips thing to complete what the others (mom, mom's boss, the Aliens/server)want possibly as an allegory how we should be living full lives instead of always on the server aka RUclips and going through the motions

So the idea is that human food allows Dad to have his human memories back and the can of FOOD from Cheryl keeps him in check under the server's control. That makes it clear that DAD is not from the server... and yes he is a human controlled by the server. Now, I theorize (and I could be wrong) that Cheryl might work for the server, she could be the server itself or she is born from the server. Clever and very interesting! Keep on going, Dad!

If I'm not mistaken we have two orbs so far in the narrative as well, a Red orb and a Blue orb. The Red orb seems to be one that causes the server to go on going and the blue one that gives this conflict. I don't think that Nathan and Dad are the same since I clearly try to not overlap the two people (Dad is DAD from the ARG and nathan is the true person behind the scenes, the one who loves ARGs enough to make one) althought it is very clever to hide secrets in his personal channel, I'll admit. If we have two Dads, one certainly is the "False" or "Server" Dad, a Copy of the man that was taken in and the "True" or "Human" Dad that is the man himself who was took.

What I dot from this: 1-(canned) FOOD control's Dad's memories. 2-Sonic 3 bonus stage cameo wants to -help dad?- (and is a new character?) 3-Mom and Daughter don't seem to be affected by FOOD (wich is why they didn't bring Dad to the restaurant).
Not going to lie, I would willingly adopt a Dad if they weren't so dependent on their habits and the server. I mean, look at this wild Dad over here, munching on some little towels.

Idk any theories but this what I concluded from the video. Dad has never had anything else to eat rather than "food" and therefore he is puzzled by the pancakes. When he tries the pancakes at 0:33 he regains conscience of a normal human until Cheryl feeds him "food" again at 0:36 were he returns to his regular dad behavior. Cheryl prevents dad from being conscientious of his own existence and the orb is trying to help him out as that is what summons the pancakes for dad. Notice dad is on the blue side and Cheryl rushes from the red side.
You know, MatPat says that he is being controlled by the FOOD, which I mean- possibility. But if Dad has programming than other food may do something to programming in him to cause Dad to be more confused. And the FOOD helps put that programming back in order so Cheryl has to make sure Dad only eats FOOD.
The blue orb seems to take Dad out of the illusion that he's in. For a brief bit he had idea where he was or who Cheryl was, but then the canned FOOD brought Dad back to who we all know and love.
I think so because in the neighbor episode The neighbor seems to be well aware of how the blue orb was able to work its magic without questioning (except dad maybe) how dad got that magazine it seems like there's probably something in the server trying to remind Dad of who he actually is if he's actually the real dad and if he's not the real dad then where is the real dad then?
Matt Metawolf it was a red orb in the neighbor video and it seems like the neighbor and red orb convinced dad that it was his magazine. So the red orb puts in false memories and the blue tries to give him back his true memories.

Maybe the dad weve been seeing is a dad under the influence of pink ball, and he doesnt remember anything from that time. Maybe blue ball is helping dad and pink ball and the rest are doing... Something else

@@isaacmero5801 yeah especially with that won't the rocket ship interstellar type of trailer looking episode I like to call that one the dad conspiracy because either there's three dads which I don't think so but it's just a thought that I decided to think about as of late where either got this guy who has a full head of hair who looks exactly like Dad from the future he was somehow taken while another person that looks like him or a body double of some sort was left behind how for what I think about the whole Nathan being hunted and always seeing dad everywhere he goes I think that's either a separate story within itself or it's a part of the main story but it makes you wonder how many dads are there at the end of the day now it could be two one can be faked or it could be three and two could be faking one can be real but if Nathan is actually dad since he was teleported to the server in one of his videos he could be the fake dad that we see throughout the whole series and the real dad is probably still out there in the world but the neighbor either seems to be a real person working with the server or e she's a construct that probably is gifted with the ability of speech and not telepathy and swai dad and his outer body it's probably so glad to talk on the outside and honestly I think the reason why dad probably likes it more outside with an actual physical form is due to the fact that he's unaware that it's been so long because let's be real the dad that we're stuck with seems to be very different from the one in Nathan skits he's a little bit more like a bad man figure like somebody it was not to be trusted and has sinister motives meanwhile the one that we see in the Dead series he has his moments of of things that are completely out of character like the pancakes and you know slapping the glass plate onto the floor after feeling rejected by family but it's nothing as sinister as probably the original dead is where he's able to pretty much invade dreams and go on to the outside world and look for a person who looks exactly like him that way he can go and invade the RUclips algorithm and website something like that all I know is that there's two sides of the same coin one dad might be good the other might just try to become the quantum father by getting into the world's AI systems and speeding up the process that's just my thoughts sorry if it's so long

Idk any theories but this what I concluded from the video. Dad has never had anything else to eat rather than "food" and therefore he is puzzled by the pancakes. When he tries the pancakes at 0:33 he regains conscience of a normal human until Cheryl feeds him "food" again at 0:36 were he returns to his regular dad behavior. Cheryl prevents dad from being conscientious of his own existence and the orb is trying to help him out as that is what summons the pancakes for dad. Notice dad is on the blue side and Cheryl rushes from the red side.

You know, MatPat says that he is being controlled by the FOOD, which I mean- possibility. But if Dad has programming than other food may do something to programming in him to cause Dad to be more confused. And the FOOD helps put that programming back in order so Cheryl has to make sure Dad only eats FOOD.

The blue orb seems to take Dad out of the illusion that he's in. For a brief bit he had idea where he was or who Cheryl was, but then the canned FOOD brought Dad back to who we all know and love.

I think so because in the neighbor episode The neighbor seems to be well aware of how the blue orb was able to work its magic without questioning (except dad maybe) how dad got that magazine it seems like there's probably something in the server trying to remind Dad of who he actually is if he's actually the real dad and if he's not the real dad then where is the real dad then?
Matt Metawolf it was a red orb in the neighbor video and it seems like the neighbor and red orb convinced dad that it was his magazine. So the red orb puts in false memories and the blue tries to give him back his true memories.
