Visiting the walk of fame stars on Hollywood boulevard is one of many on my bucket list. One star I want to pay my due is to the late Queen of Tejano music, Ms. Selena Quintanilla.
I stopped wearing makeup a few months ago (not entirely just most days) and at first I could barely look at my face and now my skin is so much better and I feel more comfortable without makeup than with it. So yeah I love the no makeup look- you’re beautiful!

Lmao! I was cracking up when you were talking about being on your own time 🤣🤣. LA is legit one of my favorite cities to visit. The vibe there is just so different. I can definitely see myself living there one day.
SoDazzling it's fun here. Cost of living is high but it is a fun city. We just need to keep the border locked up right...trust me that will piss you off

Jk. U should but if you do dont stay within the city. Live 20-30mins away much quieter and cheaper but also not too far away from everything. Everything is literally a driving or metro distance.

Thank you guys for all that you do for the passengers you serve. Some flight attendants go above and beyond and that is what happened for me. So due to my health condition I require a port to receive IV medications. I do not know how to this day but the needle in my port came out I don't know if the tape lost its stick or what but it came out. My nurse / caregiver told me we have to put a new one in that I couldn't go the whole flight without my IV meds and I said to her do I really need to do it you know getting an IV put in is not the most Pleasant thing in the world for me and she said I know your scared but you need your iv she told me we'll get through it and she'll do whatever she can to make it as easy for me as possible .Two flight attendants that I got close to Kathy and Mary came to check and see if we needed anyting I became good friends with them on our long flight and my nurse/ caregiver was getting the new needle and supplies out of her bag Mary saw the look on my face when my caregiver got the needle out and she asked what was going on and if I was okay and I told her that my caregiver has to put in the new iv and getting one put in isn't fun at all and it really scares me so Mary asked me if I wanted her and Kathy to be by me for support since they didn't need to do anything at that time since Mary was the purser . I said yes please then Mary said well why don't we go back to the resting area so you can have an actual bed to lay on when she does everything. the reason why they offered was because turns out they both used to work in a hospital as nursing assistants so they were pretty much used to it so Mary told the rest of the crew that there's going to be a medical procedure going on and that we will need to borrow one of the beds on the plane since I'm getting a new iv Mary ask my nurse how compliant I usually am and she said he is very compliant he's just a little scared so the more support you can give him the better . While my nurse and Kathy were getting my things and taking them back to the rest area Mary took me back and got a nice bed set up for me to lay on before they came in Mary helped me get on the bed and she asked me to lay down and she told me that we're not doing anything yet she's just going tto stand by me to chat and help me get my mind off of the situation she could tell that I knew what was about to happen on that bed when they came in . she did everything she could to help me not be as scared and it worked. As soon as they came in and they were starting to get set up I told Mary I really don't think I can do this and she was like yes you can Kathy and I are going to be right by you the whole time and your nurse told us that she's usually pretty quick. You got this I'm right here for you. Kathy got an empty cart and we put a towel over it so that way my nurse wadad could have a good workplace. before we started doing everything my nurse asked if I was ready she could see I was a little scared and I said I'm not sure then she had me sit up so she could give me a big hug before we did it and she was like aww habibi it will be ok we will get it all done. I told her i was scared and she said don't worry this will be done before you know it and you have two flight attendants thst are going out of their way to help you. She told me it was time to lay back down and Mary helped me lay back down. Just as the clarification habibi is what we call someone in Arabic that we really care about. Mary and Kathy were given masks and gloves by my nurse just to be more sterile and clean and to protect me from infection. a couple of the crew members were wondering what was going on since they saw two flight attendants putting on masks and gloves. They knew that they both used to work in a hospital and they let the crew know that they were helping out with a procedure. When it was time to clean and poke Kathy and Mary stayed right by me Kathy was the one that handed my caregiver the things she needed and Mary was the main person that was my support. when my caregiver was cleaning the spot Mary gave me her hand to hold and right before my caregiver was about to poke Mary said that she is going to count and after she said three she said she was going to say squeeze and that was my cue to squeeze her hand my caregiver poked and was getting the needle in Kathy and Mary were both telling me that I'm doing really good and that we're almost done. since. my nurse was putting on the tape and Flushing it and getting me all hooked up it was getting a little hard to breathe after all of that so Mary and Kathy help me get my oxygen on and going since I mainly use my oxygen at night or when I need it during the day. After all that they let me lay there and rest for a little bit and they got me a nice blanket to keep me warm After we got me all set up and after they got my oxygen turned on my Nurse, Kathy, and Mary all told me that I did real good

I wish I could! It’s a matter of privacy. I speak on them as much as I can, but I just treat things how I’d want it treated.

Make sure its completely solid. ..so far so good. Another good one are those small packs of conditioners at Sallys. I cant stand trying to get conditioner in tiny bottles🤦🏾♀️

Sometimes it's harder to get an iv put in my port and this time it was the case. My nurse had to poke a couple of times to get it in the right spot and since I can't see well my other senses are higher including feeling pain so I felt it more than what people would normally feel and we didn't have any quick numbing medication we could use at the time we needed to get it in as soon as possible. Mary told me to try my best not to move squeeze her hand and to do nice and easy breathing and she told me that she was right there and that she's not going anywhere. I was like this does not feel good and its killing me which it really was. Then Mary was like I know honey i know but we're only doing this for your health do some nice and easy breathing for me and your nurse its ok im right here for you we're almost done your doing so good Since it was really starting to get to me the pain from all the poking my nurse first asked me do you want a quick break habibi i was like yes please for at least a minute Then my nurse. suggested that both of us sing Arabic together and that we sing one of the hymns that she taught me to Kathy and Mary. So we did and they both loved our Arabic even though they couldn't understand it and when my nurse got it in the right spot Mary told me that we got it in now don't move just keep on chatting with me well your nurse puts the tape on and gets it all secure and gets you all hooked up to your iv after all of that and after letting me know I did really good before I took a little rest Kathy and Mary came back with a little bag and it had my own flight crew wing badge and it also had first class gear such as first class pajamas. When I woke up from my rest I was on my pulse ox monitor and the soft beeping was what woke me up. My nurse was in the bathroom Since they've done it before for other people when they worked in the hospital my nurse asked Kathy and Mary to take my pulse and things to check the monitor to make sure everything was good before they got me up so that way they could tell if I still needed to lay down for a little bit Kathy took my pulse and Mary check the Monitor and everything was good so Kathy helped with my iv and Mary helped me get up and help me walk back to my seat so that way I wouldn't fall. I'm really glad and thankful that those flight attendants were there and that they offered to help and that they had some medical experience like that because I know they didn't have to do that at all but I'm really glad they did. I keep in contact with them

You might need a half size bigger for your Converse if they hurt when you walk or you could always one our Jack Purcells and since Nike has taken over a lot of our new shoes have comfortable insoles that are way better. Chuck 2 are also great I work my 8 hour shift in them and I stand and walk all day. Few suggestions to help you out fam 😁.
