I think the idea of the time period changing works out well. It adds to the mystery of it. People aren't sure in town how long this place has been abandoned.

I would really love to play this house with my Sims! I also like building abandoned houses. I once built a small nightclub inspired by a scene in Life is Strange where the teenagers were having a party in an old barn - the "nightclub" turned out really nice. It's just always so hard to find the right place in the neighbourhood for this kind of building, as it looks so neat everywhere and an abandoned house looks so out of place.
But I love your creation here, all the elements from the debug menu really bring the look together!

OMG I absolutely love that. I'm a huge fan of the Life is Strange series! But I totally agree with that. Abandoned builds can look out of place in these worlds but sometimes finding a way to blend it in a little can be fun!
