The Fundamental Need to Know: The Role of Pollution Information Portals | HRC57 Side Event

In the framework of the 57th Regular Session of the Human Rights Council (HRC57), taking place in Geneva from 9 September to 11 October 2024, the UN Special Rapporteur on the implications for human rights of the environmentally sound management and disposal of hazardous substances, the Permanent Missions of United States and Mexico to the UN Office in Geneva with the support of the Geneva Environment Network, are convening an event to reflect on the thematic report presented by the Special Rapporteur entitled “Pollution information portals: strengthening access to information on releases of hazardous substances” (A/HRC/57/52).
