We didn't play the original (so hard to find!) but I really enjoy this one. One of the only coops in our collection 😅 Thanks Nico for watching and taking the time to comment 😊
I made the mistake of trying to learn and play the original at BGGcon a few years ago on the second day at 2am after an already long day of heavy euro gaming. Big mistake! We were soooooo tired, so reflexes and brains were pretty slow at the time. I am not sure real-time coop is for me, but I do feel like the game really captures the hectic nature of a kitchen. Loved your mini play through too!
Hahahahah yes it is not exactly an easy game or a filler game! I think this is the only type of co-op game that suits us... the timer adds the tension that we miss when we play other co-op games. Thanks for always watching and commenting, we appreciate your support! ☺
Your videos are so clean and fresh! So delightfull. And please PLEASE, from now on, include the blackbird singing in the background: its my favouvrite sound in summer. Unfortunately winter is approaching fast here in Europe and I have to wait for their tune several loooong months...
Thank you Jonas! Amy here - Maggie (the editing / sound wizard) was so worried about how loud the birds were in the background ☺ I told her that birds are nice to hear... so it was lovely to reassure her with your feedback!! Hopefully it balanced out the stress of the actual gameplay 😅 thank you for taking the time to comment.
Thanks for another great review. My wife loves those cooking video games and this theme really appeals to us but real time stresses us both out sooo much haha. We won't buy it before trying for that reason but we are definitely going to try this one at a con or with friends asap it looks really fun so it might outweigh the stress for us!
First time watching, your playthrough didn't feel too draggy, it got me interested in the game just after the brief gameplay explanation. Where can I get kitchen rush, the revised edition? Is it still for pre-order? How do I preorder?
You seem to have the revised English version but im also seeing a German version floating around. Do you know what the differences are for those 2 variants? Ta
I do not! I do know some differences between the first and second edition... particularly to do with the new dry goods pantry as well as the tutorial option in the new version which is really great. Sorry I can't be of more help about the German version!
This has the best overview I've found on youtube of this game: thanks
Thank you so much that is really lovely feedback. Glad it was useful and thanks for taking the time to comment 😊
I agree!
wow this is the BEST and most clear tutorial on YT. Thanks for uploading!
Thank you Fred that is such lovely feedback! I'm glad you found this video useful... we had a lot of fun making it :)
This video sold me on getting the game and I love it so far! Thanks for such a good playthrough!
I didn't knew there was a revised version of this game :0
I want it sooo baaad! 😆
Thank you so much for the video 💜

Great review! And cool shirt ;)
Hahaha thanks Aldie! I need to get some more colours! Hope you're resting well after a big Spiel weekend 😊
I loved your video!! Do you know what sleeve size I should get for the cards? I’m about to buy this same edition:)

instablaster...
In scenario 1,can players start at the same time or do we have to wait for who gets the one order spot first?

@@ThinkerThemer thank you. Looks like this 2nd edition is definitely a better purchase.
Was surprised to hear you talk about US game stores, you sound Australian 🤭
The revised edition looks SOOO much better. The artwork alone would have kept me from the first version.
