Watching through this build in one big sitting, and it just amazes me how much detail they've put in the engine. I know and understand so little about car engines, like if I got a model car and there was an engine but it was just like a cube I'd be like "yeah, seems about right", all these tiny details, it's crazy. Good though, for the people who want those sorts of details to be right. I have a model ecto-1, but it's the playmobile version, there isn't an engine in there, but it's still a nice thing, for someone with a more modest budget I think it's probably the best of the cheaper, more toy-quality ones.
The "high pressure hose" is actually a support bracket, without it, the torques from the engine would pull the bracket into a curve making evrything out of line, It's in the correct place though. Great video again, Wayne. Keep them coming!
Wayne, just got my delivery of Special #1, two proton packs! Really excited, and will be building them over the weekend - as mu hands are a little dirty from doing some painting right now. Also found out that Adam Savage [of Mythbusters fame] has joined our ranks and did a live stream of the first 6 packs last night.
Wow, power steering in a fifties car. The UK was so behind the USA. I think the first car we had with electric windows (only the front ones!) Was the early 90's. I don't remember the pulleys having numbers stamped on them for the DeLorean, so figuring out which one went were was more of a guessing game.
Mark Johnson We. Ended to invent Power Steering early, cause we made such gigantic and heavy cars. Think the E1 (Cadillac Amb/Hearse) musta. End like five tonnes! Gas Milage.......who cared, gas was $.28/gal in ‘59.
Dag nabbit, I called customer service to try to get more shipments to finish the Ecto-1 done faster. They told me that option wasnt available at this time due to overwhelming demands..... GRRRR LOL. You lucky dog. Keep the vids coming bud, I'll need them sooner or later, LMAO. Build on Brother....😎
Guess I’ll know in a couple months but that pressure hose looks more like a support bracket due to being run to the cylinder head instead of down to the rack
I was wondering if the bar for the power steering pump could be put in where it runs along the engine which might be how they intended it to fit. But it was just a thought.
I know they were supposed to show off the final model assembled at the cancelled show, but did they post photos online anywhere of the finished model so we know if they added things like engine labels and addressed the non working fog lights?
@@WorldofWayneUK which wouldn't bother me except every single photo of the model including the advertising web pages, poster and subscription magazines all show them working. 😡

Just having the engine on display by it self would look amazing.
if the engine is something to go by ,this model is going to be super detailed
The engine is looking pretty amazing so far!

Hello Wayne, great video mate, it really is starting to look like an engine know, another fiddly build but they do make a difference, Lee.
Guess I’ll know in a couple months but that pressure hose looks more like a support bracket due to being run to the cylinder head instead of down to the rack
That's what it is.

Someone posted on the Facrbook forum I believe saying they weren't on in the film so they aren't lit on the model.

Oh Wayne hope you didnt pass out cutting yourself if you seen blood a great show looks great 🏆🏆🏆
It was touch and go there for a while lol :D
I believe the license plate is life size. It should measure 12” x 6” or something like that.
Looks like there will be a lot of over scale screw heads showing on that engine.
Hi Wayne when did you’re delivery arrive of this next batch? Mine have not arrived and I think I’ve so far had mine in sync with you. Thanks
I'm on the year payment plan. I think we are getting ours slightly quicker.
ah wayne, 11K, blimey didn't know the engine was that rich LOL
wished I had that sort of money on my engine....LOL .🤣🤣🤣
blooming heck your up early
lol. I filmed this yesterday but I normally get up early anyways. I am up with the sun :D I do go bed incredibly early too though.
@@WorldofWayneUK i worl nights but on my 2 days off so up with the birds and now doing the victory cannon portholes 2 rows done already
A big thanks to the postman, otherwise we wouldn't get your videos.
I saw some of the Germany builds getting proton packs from eaglemoss to assemble! How does one get those?
No idea. I think we are getting 2 in a special
World of Wayne if I counted right, and it’s included; I think it will be your next pack.
Sorry to say this but there sold separately for €39.99 on the continent. But there ARE 4 Proton Pack's and 1 Ghost Trap in the set.
Robert Gripton where can I get one?
@@sagasky I dont know try Emailing eaglemoss
Hey anyone, how many issues for E1? Sorry, I forgot!
141
That's not a hose, actually, it is the read PS support bracket.
Hey “World of Wayne”. What’s your 1st name?
Lol. Clue is in the RUclips name
I'm so when you never going to build the X Wing no more I guess you just you just tired of making four wings of engines LOL
funny enough. I did a video today that is released Friday. If you wanna see it before then check out ruclips.net/video/1pdSRQk8-2I/видео.html
👍👍😻😻
Uh, does there get to be an actual CAR involved with this engine?
Lol
Not accurate... power steering pump's not leaking
😄😄
