They're adding some free story DLC in 2023 maybe that will elevate it?!

Good story in tactical games are characters. If you don't care about them, even plot writen by Chris Avallone will fizzle to keep you interest.

I've heard the combat in this game compared to the Growlanser series which is an interesting comparison to make. Shame to hear the game fizzles out halfway through though
Growlanser is much better than this game.
