What does one do after releasing a top-10 debut EP and touring the world playing massive shows? If you’re Grace Vanderwaal, you start your freshman year of high school. How this girl is not getting any air time on the radio is beyond me. Grace is so talented and extremely underrated! She puts her heart, soul and emotions into her singing. You feel as if you are on this journey with her when she is performing. I've heard Grace is not all about radio air play but she would definitely blow some artist away with her Talent.
Grace said her label has not pushed her onto mainstream radio yet because she wants to enjoy her childhood she says it's a slow build. She has a 5 year plan which started after agt I assume.

Grace is realistic, she told a DJ to play her music but she knows if her songs got on the radio she wouldn't be dethroning anyone but she would be gaining a lot more fans. Let's be realistic if Grace gets on the radio she won't be getting people to drop Drake, Cardi or Taylor and just follow her, her time will come

I'm almost 40, end of this month, and this beautiful young woman is the only artist to bring me to tears, like every time I listen to her for no more of a reason than I am so happy for her! I mean, I lied, also because her songs are so moving, and that voice! She is truly amazing, and she is the epitome of prodigy child! only difference between her and most prodigies, she won't be out of the limelight when she turns 18!

I’ve seen Grace perform live now five times in both very small venues and in actual stadiums. While it is an absolute blast to witness her live, unfortunately those larger venues mask the nuances of her magical voice. All the quirkinesses that makes her so special get lost. Performances like this allow you to hear all of them in their awesome display. There are millions of singers out there with “strong” “well-trained” voices who are truly naturally talented and also experienced and professional , but a voice like Grace VanderWaal’s is at a whole new level. It cannot be learned or trained into, this is a gift that she’s born with. Fortunately she has been working to improve her vocal skills the the underlying inborn talent that makes her vocals so special is what separates her from the millions of really good singers out there.
I don't know what I'll do if she ever writes a song that doesn't go right to my heart and memories. I love you Grace, only God could have given you the extraordinarily beautiful ancient soul that's apparent to all of us.
