i sold my walksnail goggles x for the dji goggles 3. for them being around the same price, the goggles 3 is superior in terms of features. i will miss the wide compatibility but it will be compatible with the 04 and shit, even maybe a 05 down the line.

Well to be honest if I would start all over again like I started in 2021 I would go to walksnail I mean price wise ofcourse. But at this point I love them both so much I can't decide . I love the low light on walksnail and I love other things on DJI. But I mean if you do not need to sell just keep both. I sold so much stuff in the last couple of years and honestly regretted some . If you are not short on money just keep both systems. I love to have both.
DJI does that because of legal resones. You are putting your self in risk of violating regulations when tinkering with the things. They are trying to protect them selves and also the customer. I think.

Because I paid for them and they are probably like 15% better in some scenarios

Could be but I have it for penetration it is not actually to fly further but to have a more solid connection.
