I have now realized that you're my go-to when it comes to romance since almost half of these I've read because you've recommended before and loved as well.
I saw Never seduce a Scot in your channel some months ago and I read it and OMG it was amazing. I loved it soooo much, I can’t wait to keep reading more historical romances from the author!
In The Company of Killers is so good. I read it thanks to you several years ago and i was OBSESSED. I stopped after book 5 or 6 but i'll definitly finish the series one day.
I remember watching one of your videos where you recommended Radiance. I immediately read it afterwards and now is one of my favorite romance books ever. ❤️
I feel like all of the 4 women in that club from the Girl Meets Duke series are from different Hogwarts houses: Emma = Gryffindor, Alex = Ravenclaw, Penny = Hufflepuff, Nicola = Slytherin
You introduced me to the great Grace Draven ❤️. Entreat Me and Radiance are now some of my all time favorites!! I look forward to reading Phoenix unbound next.
This video comes at the perfect time! I just re-watched all your romance recommendations today, to update my Goodreads hahaha. Thank you!! I also recently read Radiance and I absolutely fell in love with it as well, such a refreshing romance ❤️
There's a movie based on the book Killing Sarai. When you talked about it, it sounded so familiar to me. Last year I saw a movie named En Brazos de un Asesino, I just googled it and in the US it is called Killing Sarai.
I bought Radiance because of you and I loved it🥰 But...... I could only buy the first two books😭😭 The rest have to be downloaded and I can’t do that because of a couple of reasons. Another reason being I also hate using my e-reader, I prefer holding a book in my hands. I want the rest of the series so bad and I can’t get it😭😭😭 I need to know what happens😒🙁😭
I'm currently reading A Nordic King. But I have to say, being Danish, I'm having a difficult time getting into it. I would love the story had it not been placed in Denmark. I just can't seem to keep comparing to how the monarchy and society in Denmark actually work - a little more research wouldn't have hurt. I also tried listening to it as an audiobook hoping I could distance myself a bit from all the Danish references, but the absolute butchering of the Danish language kept distracting me trying to understand what they were saying 😂 I think it is a 3 star read from me, but I'll probably give it 4 because I know I would have loved it had it been placed in an alternate universe or in a country I not too familiar with.
As a swedish person, that's why I can say with absolute certainty that I won't be picking up any books from that series. I wish authors would just set royalty romances in fictional countries, because the inaccuracies are so distracting. (Or, you know, do research...)
@@academicrage Yes! I knew it was a bad idea, but I kept seeing it being recommended. I'm 50% through the book and it's very much the North American idea/dream of what a Scandinavian monarchy is. Also listening to the narrators struggle with "forhelvede" in every single chapter is hilarious - they really gotta channel their inner potato 😂
@@LineaFuglsig Hahaha, I can only imagine... to be fair, I would also struggle with that (or any danish word) despite speaking a very closely related language... Now I'm just imagining americans trying to pronounce danish words and I'm almost tempted to read it just for the lulz
When you said cavemen were "unwashed and gross" I had to pause the video I was laughing so hard. You're not wrong. I was just unprepared for that truth 🤣
I would love to see an under hyped romance list from you!
