Homesick will always be the best album they have ever written but I do agree that is a good album.
All bands have that 2 and third album that's just UGHHHH SOOOO GOOOOD then the other album is good but not better.

Yes!!! When I first heard the album, I was in shock by how it went with my life right now. Haha. They. Are. PERFECT
This song specifically, as well as the entire album, has helped me through so much in my life. I hold this song dearly to me and the value it carries. During my childhood I grew up in an abusive environment caused by my family. My parents themselves were heavily addicted to drugs and my grandparents sold them regularly. There was a lot of emotional abuse that was inflicted on me at the time and even more damage that I wouldn't find out about until years later. Soon after I was diagnosed with a few emotional disorders. I finally left the summer of 2018 and I haven't been back since. Every lyric of this song speaks true to what it was like and how I feel about it now. It took me a while to finally recover to where it doesn't hurt anymore. I listened to this song and album in high school and it didn't hold the same value to me back then. Now, it means so much more because I realize it helped me heal and it's a testament of what I've been through. While I'm listening to it I'll sing along and I can't help but cry sometimes. I cry and get chills and I feel like for the first time in my life I am empowered. I'm free because I found an escape. And the damage I've had to endure is a scar that I wear proudly now, because it took so much fucking courage for me to leave and continue on with my life in a world they're no longer a part of. Looking back you only learn from what you've lost. Thank you for everything.

I love how music grows on us as we grow older. I loved this album as a teen. But i can't say I really "got" the album, especially this song.

personally i think it would be great for them to go in that direction. the new album they will release hopefully next year will be awesome.
They just released Common Courtesy.. their next album won't be out until 2016-2017..

Michael Ober They didn't necessarily wait, its not like they squatted on this record for two years. They wanted it to come out sooner. Supposedly they had to fight with the label to it out as early as they did.
Yeah I know the story I'm a huge adtr fan. Though for next time they should just release every year. I mean this album had its moments but it still didn't feel like an album to me honestly like these songs werent that great... like idk maybe cuz their aren't any music videos out for them or the fact that it wasn't done traditionally like normal albums. I just want them to release hopefully in the next year its common for bands to do and I realise they just released it but again imo I don't think this was their best work. They should not have been so pop punk on this album and alternative but that's just me...
