C.K. tries a soldering iron from Wisehigh powered by a Dewalt tool battery

A soldering iron powered by a power tool battery, in this case Dewalt tool batteries. Obviously makes your soldering station very portable.
When I bought this in Sept 2024 it was US$37 on Amazon, but you do have to factor in the battery cost. Since I use Dewalt power tools I have plenty of batteries on hand. You can get units of other tool manufacturers batteries, of course.
Very serviceable. It won’t be my workbench unit, but it would be great for working on the car, in a shed, around the house, without having to worry about extension cords.
And it has a high-temp silicon cord, Yay! No worries about melting the cord if you accidentally set the iron down on it (I’ve done that).
For US$37, a fine unit.
