Sambalpur is the fifth largest city in the Indian State of Odisha. It is located on the banks of river Mahanad. It is the home of the
Sambalpuri sari.
Hirakud Dam is built across the Mahanadi River, about 15 kilometres from Sambalpur in the state of Odisha in India. It is the longest
earthen dam in the world. Behind the dam extends a lake, Hirakud Reservoir, 55 km long. It is one of the first major multipurpose
river valley projects started after India's independence. Hirakud Reservoir was declared a Ramsar site on 12 October 2021.
The Debrigarh wildlife sanctuary is located in the Bargarh district in the Indian state of Odisha, covering a total area of 346.91
km2. It is situated near the city of Sambalpur's Hirakud Dam. The Debrigarh Wildlife Sanctuary is an important location for the
conservation of various local wildlife and their habitat. It is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. Over 40 species of mammals,
200 species of birds, 40 species of reptiles, 12 species of amphibians, 42 species of fishes, 39 species of odonates, 85 species of
butterflies and 38 species of spiders have been found living in the sanctuary.

Individual Seat Booking in Safari Vehicles is Not Permitted. Visitors need to book the Entire Vehicle. Entry Ticket Fee is to be paid

report at the entry point 30 minutes prior to Jungle Safari timing. 2.5 hours Safari - Debrigarh(Zeropoint) to Parbatitang and Back.

সত্যি ওখানে গিয়ে প্রকৃতির অপরূপ সৌন্দর্যে মোহিত হয়ে গিয়েছিলাম। যারা প্রকৃতি ভালোবাসেন তাদের জন্য এ এক সুন্দর destination. এছাড়াও এখানে প্রকৃতির কোলে আছে বহু প্রাচীন ও ঐতিহ্যবাহী অনেক মন্দির।
অপূর্ব সুন্দর তাদের গঠনশৈলী। পরের পর্বে আমরা যাব সেই সব মন্দিরে সাথে অবশ্যই থাকবে প্রকৃতির কোলে অবস্থিত বাঁধ।

Rainey season a Debrigarh sanctuary khola thake. Apni 15 th August jete parben bhalo lagbe. Samaleswari express a A.C te jaben. Sleeper er obostha bhalo noi. Bhalo thakben sustho thakben.
