That's because with thousands of flats if they use bore water the ground water level will descend rapidly and the neighboring areas were local residents will face water problems. Hiranandani Upscale OMR is also out side the limits of Chennai Corporation so there is no way we can get corporation water and to add to this there is a Government restriction that gated communities with more than x amount of flats cannot use bore water for domestic use.
