    Why are we using a good eye for detail instead of details? Is it because this phrase is an idiom? Could you please explain it a little bit why 'detail' is singular?

    • @tiffany-chillearn5269
      @tiffany-chillearn5269 4 года назад +3

      Check the dictionary entry here and you'll find the answer :)
      The word detail here means the small features of something that you only notice when you look carefully and it's classified as an uncountable noun
      Example sentences:
      I was just admiring the detail in the doll's house - even the tins of food have labels on them.
      It's his eye for (= ability to notice) detail that distinguishes him as a painter.

    This video is extremely Useful for job searchers especially those who is moving oversea.
    Asian are very hard working but Lack of communication skill. In contrast, foreignor almost always performs better for job interview. Knowing what to say would make a big difference for job searchers. Me, like most Asian working oversea is no exception. I always feel stressful for job interview or talking to strangers. 😳😖🙈
    Thank you for making this video.😽😝😹👻

    • @Unknown-tt8iu
      @Unknown-tt8iu 3 года назад +1

      如果你是刚毕业没有太多工作经验的, 你可以这么说 I'd like to learn more about the position and the company before discussing money, but it would be helpful if you could share what the budgeted salary range is for this role.
      如果你有了几年工作经验,也了解了求职的行业的平均薪资, 你就可以大胆自信的给出一个范围 Given my experience, expertise, and skills, I would expect to receive a salary in the range between X and Y. 如果不想把话说得太满,可以加多一句 However, I’m open to negotiate salary based on the entire compensation package.
