All of the colors, textures and contrast look beautiful together!!! I grew a similar burgundy coleus years ago and it was a showstopper! Love that brunnera! I tried some a few years ago and struggled with it...it eventually died :(. I keep seeing it at the nurseries and seeing yours makes me what to try it again! Beautiful garden Robbie ~ thanks for the tour! I always appreciate your fun, laid back demeanor. It's very refreshing!

Those flowers just pop
I don't understand why you don't use your pop-up bag to throw your debris in.. not trying to be mean, but it's twice the work for you to toss the scraps on the ground and then have to pick them up.. when you could just toss them in your pop-up bag.. just curious because I use my pop-up bag all the time.
I do the same my little piles and yes it’s double trouble but I do it all the time!!

Robbie perfect placement of all those plants can’t wait to see them fill out as well I love the stark differences in coloring and then the variegated pops out against a solid your apple espalier coming along it looks really great, at first I’m like where is he going to plant those but you always seem to find the right spot glad you got your fountain on too,the sound the beauties what could be better oh and you said you were cooler happy to hear it’s Saturday and I know you now not so cool 😮 we’re gonna be like 108 today and I don’t recall what yours was but I’m sure near the same our temps are very similar, We can try to stay cool, have a great weekend

I live in the same house I grew up in. We have Polk salad. It is poisonous, but my mom used to cook it for us. I had to look up how we didn't die. When young, it is not toxic, but I am never taking a chance again. Just crazy.
I think you can eat poke weed if prepared properly 🤠 Look up the song Poke Salad Annie for a giggle while you garden 😋

105 heat index here with humidity - you wouldn't like it! Everything is looking beautiful in your garden. I'm just hoping mine survives.
Water the weeds you are trying to pull. When the ground is wet, it is easier to get all of the roots. Love your garden.
You may have to resort to using an herbicide containing glyphosate or 2,4-D to spray the leaves of the plants. Lowes has Spectracide Ready-to-Use 1-Gallon Trigger Spray Weed and Grass Killer.

Good morning Robbie. Those plants all look gorgeous where you planted them. For the Purple grass that you planted close to the Red coleus I think looks good even though it is green instead of purple. Sometimes you just need the green side of things. Or you could transplant it in the week of the cooler weather to where it is going to be more sun. Either way " it's fine. " Those apple trees look like they are living their dream all happy where they are at. Anyways you are an amazing gardener and enjoy your evening.

Perfect additions to your garden. The coleus really stands out amongst the green, We can't get a break from the rain and heat here in the midwest, I garden in hot sand but have only had to get the hose out once this year so far. Very unusual.
