Detailed description: 0:00 - Game Load 0:05 - Esthar Region The party resumes outside Esthar in the Great Salt Lake area. The lineup is Quistis, Squall, and Rinoa. Quistis has the Defense set of GFs junctioned: Brothers, Carbuncle, Leviathan, Doomtrain, and Tonberry. Squall has the Attack set of GFs: Shiva, Diablos, Pandemona, Alexander, and Cactuar. Rinoa has the Magic set of GFs: Quezacotl, Ifrit, Siren, Cerberus, and Bahamut. The party boards Ragnarok and goes to the Cockpit. 1:06 - Ragnarok Squall rides the lift down. In the Passenger Seat area, the party challenges Laguna to Triple Triad (1:26). In just one game, the party wins the Squall card from Laguna (2:14). Besides being a good playing card, it can be modded for 3 Three Stars items, which teach a GF the Expendx3-1 ability. A Three Stars item can also be refined into 100 Triple spells. Back in the Cockpit, Squall talks to Irvine to set out. 2:48 - The Skies The party sets course for Shumi Village. When they arrive, they land on Winter Island. 3:17 - Trabia Region After saving, the party enters Shumi Village. 3:36 - Shumi Village The party goes north and enters the Desert Village. They ride the elevator down to the main part of Shumi Village (3:53). In the eastern part of the underground village, the party rests at the Hotel. The party is still working towards the achievement "Magic Miner". Outside the Elder's Residence in the middle of town, Squall exchanges a Blizzaga spell to Zell. He draws a Blizzaga spell from the Blizzaga draw point. Zell discards the excess Blizzaga spell. The party earns a SeeD Level 8 salary of 6,000 gil. In the Artisan's Residence, the party picks up the issue of Timber Maniacs (6:49). They avoided picking it up on Disc 2 because doing so would have prevented Ward from being available during the Laguna in Trabia Canyon sequence. The player earns the achievement "Timber Maniacs" for collecting all Timber Maniacs magazines. The party saves at the save point outside the Elder's Residence. The party goes to the workshop in the western part of Shumi Village (7:53). In the northern room, they chat with the three Shumis by the now complete statue (8:07). I bet these three are happy to be done. As the party returns to the southern part of the workshop, an event with the Elder takes place (8:39). Squall looks at "Garden Festival Committee" first. Next, he looks at "My Friends" (29:18). There are entries by several of his companions. Afterwards, Squall looks at "My Diary" (31:17). By this point in the game, there are several entries to Selphie's diary, and it is quite lengthy. Finally, Squall looks at "Sir Laguna's Page" (42:24).
