That Truck kinda resembles the old Studebaker front end, doors like a house. Lol. I don't think California would appreciate the hard work and dedication to these trucks.. Maybe they will be building electric ones soon 🤣🤣
In the USA we call these guys shadetree mechanics. They most commonly use methods not deemed safe or even near standads that most would accept as good. Patch it up and send it along , it will be back in a few weeks.
Yes one would hope that a new frame with additional strengthening to address that failure point would have been the way to go instead of just another poorly welded patch job… 🤷♂️
i didnt see any weld repair to the inner support rail before the repair went on. but considering all the measuring. there must of still been a 5 - 6mm gap to fill. the props slide teeth were not pre greased before being hammered back in place. and my final laugh. ive seen the chisels that needed the heads grinding off but thats the first time ive seen a hammer head with the same damage.
Yea, I admire what these guys do with what they have but I see a LOT of things that require only a little time and very few materials, which they already have on hand, to do some of these jobs more properly
I appreciate the young child for the mechanics that he's doing, but he installed the two halfs drive shafts wrong. The drive shaft bearing ends needs to be in line.
@@thepubliceye yes, that's true, but often times if there is harden grease with dirt it may go hard in. It should be cleaned before and check if is straight, not bent.

None of those vehicles have ever seen a road. You see any pavement in any of these videos? This is a country of Back to the Future Doc Browns. You don't need any roads where we're going!
You get a lot of cracked chassis members. Is it metal fatigue. Over loading. Crap roads or a combination of all three. That old work horse if it had been a horse you would have shot it
@@Happyfacehotwheels I never heard it but I've seen it written on plenty of frames. Do not drill or weld. That's only on the tensile steel frames of flatbed trailers though. They're sprung.
@@ky.gambler5281 IIRC from researching Bedford chassis in the mid-sixties, the chassis and the cab were probably made at Dunstable near Luton, Bedfordshire. Bedford was the commercial vehicle division of Vauxhall Motors. During the seventies I saw chassis-cab units being imported into East Africa for local bodies to be added. I have a vague recollection that, in later years, there may have been a subsidiary plant in Tehran.
Note the guy working on the drive shaft wearing the American Flag cap. I wonder how that goes over in a predominantly Muslim country? I don’t mean that in a derogatory way, I just wonder if it puts him at risk?
It's called apprenticeship, probably the owners son or another mechanics son learning the buisness. Best training ever is hands on at a young age vs being a useless college snot with no job living in the basement playing video games.
What a tragedy: children working with dangerous chemicals and equipment. These criminals exploit the work of poor children, in an unhealthy and dangerous place, and without the use of personal protective equipment.
That is apprenticeship. I guarantee that young man is a son of one of the mechanics. He was actually taking the “superior” role in that driveshaft installation. He is being trained in a valuable trade that will earn him a good, honest wage. What are you offering him? Got a scholarship for him? Are you going to help support his family? Before “modern times”, this is how knowledge and skill was passed from generation to generation. Child learns trade/skill of an older person and spent years as an apprentice. They then become the masters who pass the knowledge to the next generation. Maybe we westerners need to relearn how we got to where we are today…
Hope you guys are all safe with the monsoon flooding going on in Pakistan, best wishes from Bradford, England.
The truck is scrap, but thanks to Allah ´, the painting is intact.

Realy hard work and final result very very satisfactory!
Gotta love a Pakistani mechanic, something breaks, the correct way to repair it must be heat, beat, and more meat!!
Grande profissional da ária mecânica muito bom excelente 👏👏👏 parabéns pelo vídeo que Deus abençoe sempre seu trabalho muito bom 👏👏👏

Deepest condolences from Indonesia due to monsoon tragedy. May Allah SWT speeds the recovery. BTW, it's a great job!
А они не пробовали больше 100 тонн не грузить на восьмитонник?
У нас дураки за кашу работают а эти за плов. За 8 тонн плов без мяса а вот за 100тонн уже пару кусочков мяса с чайную ложку и поллепёшки в придачу.
Looks like and old Bedford TJ Series truck.
tremendo trabajo artesania pura unos genios
Great coverage. Always prop the bed never rely on the hydraulics to keep it elevated.

See how the frame broke where bolt was, yup from cutting round holes with a torch..
Say it ain't so! A previous repair that failed again? NO WAY! LOL!
The only thing amazing about this is that no one died that day.
