- We cannot come to Jesus with our spiritual hands full of our accomplishments, titles, and egos and also expect to have the capacity to receive His blessings. However, when we come to Him empty-handed, we’re able to receive all of Him! Sometimes, we get so distracted with our desires that instead of finding room for God, we try to fill various voids. By doing so, we fail to leave room for God to bless us beyond our performance. Regardless of how life ebbs and flows, let us acknowledge our God in His ability to pour into us everything we need to give Him glory!

I messed up with drugs the other day and its been a while i haven't been as close to The Lord. Drifting away.
I came empty to The Lord and repented. Surely God filled me with The Holy Spirit again. Sober. No more sinning cigarettes beer alcohol drugs women sexual immorality etc.

Yes I’ve been getting filled again I ran out of everything I cried I went through the motions it wasn’t until I cried out to the right person (my Lord and Savior). I ran Gods way and haven’t look back. I prayed worshipped right in the place I needed it, in my home. I’ve felt his spirit enter me and I’ve been walking in the path I’m led to by him ever since. Sermons scriptures understanding of his word motivation peace and everything I’ve prayed about healing spiritual growth and every place he sees fit and yesssss he taking me through every inch of me that was emptying he is filling me with his word. I had lost myself maybe 4 years ago and then I was in 2 severe car accidents back to back 2 years later. Now we have this pandemic going on and I am having a hard time with staying in control of life. I was always the type to have a plan A, B, C, D, and sometimes E for everything. Things keep changing.... things I could not and will never be able to control. I found myself... just going. Now my feeling has a word: empty. Thank you God for sending me here to start another level of healing. I can rebuke being empty in the name of Jesus! My peace, joy, and happiness will start now. My family has missed the "real me" so much.

I feel empty, so empty, for years now...trying to smile and mean it...trying to say “I’m sorry for YOUR loss, and mean it. I’ve been trying to be grateful, because there are so many blessings to be grateful for, but I am empty. Compassion less, no ideas or plans, no friends to even care. I used to call on folks, and I could be helped, but no more. No comfort from positions, titles or compliments. Empty on the outside and inside. It is terrifying, so discomforting...cannot remember the day. But I remember that God loves me, and made me His, and he is not a man that He should lie. I remember Him. And I let go a little more and then a little more, and more again. And it is painful. And all of it is due to His power and grace and unrelenting faith. I thank you Bishop.

I will absolutely under no circumstances forget this message. It explains why no matter how hard I try I can always get close enough to see and touch but never to grab and have. My strategy is off.
