May Allah make every muslim smoker who smokes in public pay the amount of harm he has done to others and the bad influence he spread in form of his good deeds on the day of judgment
Or may Allah guide them to stopping and doing khayr. Why you making dua against muslims who are trialed with smoking? Allahua3lam maybe he was jahil and lived a life of ignorance and became addicted to smoking and once you advise him in the correct manner he fears Allah and leaves it off. SubhanAllah people become like lions against their own muslim brothers and like mouses with the kuffar. Allahulmusta3an.
We are not without sin. All of us sin. You yourself may trialed with something how would you like it if people were making dua against you to take away your good deeds rather than to guide you to stopping and changing for the better? May Allah guide us all to having a kind merciful heart and speech towards our brothers intending khayr and giving advice in the best most effective way.
If a passive smoker who inhales the smoke and gets sickness like cancer and dies of that sickness . In that case is the active smoker responsible for the death and is he l considered like a killer. As said in quran killing an innocent is like killing of whole humanity. Will this apply on the active smoker.
Despite the view that smoking is prohibited, a smoker is not considered to be committing suicide in Islam, even if physicians describe it as "slow suicide". Shaykh Ibn ʻUthaymeen was once asked if someone who dies as a result of smoking is considered to have committed suicide, and he replied, “Do you think that someone who smokes does so to die? Does he do so for that purpose? (Questioner: "No.") There is a difference between someone who intends to kill himself and someone who does not intend to. However, it is said that if it is obvious that smoking leads to death, then this is among the strongest evidence that it is forbidden. I have no doubt that smoking is forbidden, given its physical, moral and financial harms…. There is no doubt that smoking is forbidden; however, we cannot say that the person who smokes is killing himself because he does not intend to kill himself by doing so.” [Al-Baab Al-Maftooh]
We should make dua for those who struggle leaving this evil addiction, for Allah to make it easy for them to quit and to keep them firm upon imaan.
All those who are struggling… you can do it! May Allah keep you strong!
Hafidhahullah. BarakAllahu feekum

بارك الله فيكم وجزاكم الله خيرا

This is true it is a waste of money and a useless activity.
