    How can people look at this and not realize there’s a creator to this world. The instincts that animals have and the things each one does for birthing babies is amazing. They each do things for everything throughout their life cycles and to not believe God exists when such detail went into making our world is ridiculous.

    • @carlynoneya8397
      @carlynoneya8397 4 года назад +15

      Not painful for them at all! About a week before and after they give birth their body is releasing a hormone that makes it super easy to pull their fur without hurting them. Kinda like extreme shedding. Useful if your doe didnt pull fur for her nest, you can just go up and pull some from her Dewlap or rump yourself. You barely have to pinch it and it comes out. And she is perfectly fine with it.

      It's completely normal, my paw-paw has a farm with bunnys and whenever the mothers give birth they do it in a box where they pluck alot pf fur so the bunnys are nice, warm, and safe. But whenever it gives birth you should try and wait atleast 3-4 weeks before holding a baby bunny.

    SHE PULLS HER FUR OUT: No, it really does not hurt her. Normaly when a Doe is coming close to having her kits her body will produce and release a higher amount of estrogen hormones within her body. The increase of this hormone causes her fur to become looser and easier for her to tear it out to make a nest for her babies. Sometimes Does may get a boost of estrogen days or weeks before the babies are born so they may pull "early" as some won't even pull at all or pull as a physical habit of being given a nesting box if given one. (please excuse my poor grammer.)

I guess he will have to feed some since she has 18 and is not cable of feeding 18 at a time. I guess they smell Mom on the hair and that is why they are moving up, thinking the hair is Mom.

    • @karenredding9439
      @karenredding9439 8 лет назад +4

      I agree, wire is painful to be on for any animal. We raised rabbits and we bred 3 females at a time, because when one mom had to many you give to the mom with less, also don't bread them very long, the longer they are left with the male the more kits she will have. We kept track of who was bred with the male, no cross breeds. Seems he's needs to learn how to run his business. We bought huge crates with pans in them and cut the corners off so they can pee and poop, and down below we bought the biggest masonry mixing pans, it covers the whole under side of their cage, each day layer with straw and fly bait, and at the end of the week we bag and take to the dumpster. Rabbits only have 8 tits, and ideal is only 6 kit's. We treat animals with respect. In summer in the barn with air conditioning room, and in winter heaters. The floors are gravelly, but straw over around there cage area because sometimes their pee will miss the pans, but watch for it and move the pan according. We hung our cages from the barn rafters with cables, and to keep them from swinging we have stakes in the ground, rabbits can move around without swinging. We also built our on cages, and bought sheets of tin to cover other than corners. The females with kits had their boxes to birth and keep their kits warm. The mom puts her hay and fur for their nest. We always charted ours so we knew when it was time for birth, we added the soft hay, not straw, for bedding. You can tell when she is getting ready to birth because she gathers hay in her mouth and begins to round the hay with her head, and she will pull the fur to line so her kits are kept warm and soft.

To catch the poop and for the other things such as nesting obviously. If the mother doesn’t always stay in the cage with them he’d only have to change it like once a week, don’t forget there small little bunnies

      awwww, congratulations.😍 remember to get them their shots and wormer. NEMEX is the best brand of wormer for puppies - the same stuff vets use. you can get it at Tractor Supply or sometimes the vet will sell it over the counter. you can get the shots at tsc as well. make sure to use the 5way for puppies; apparently the lepto in the 7, 9, 10, and 12way shots can cause an allergic reaction in young puppies. (according to my sister, who's a vet.) they're also cheaper: $6-$7 each and you can give them yourself ; just follow the instructions on the bag it comes in then roll the vile between your hands to warm it up before injection so it doesn't startle them. there's two ways to give a shot: intramuscularly and subcontaniously. in other words you can either poke them in the butt (hindquarters) or squirt it under their skin. I've always done it under the skin of their withers because it's largely insensitive. just pull the skin up and poke the needle in the little 'tent'. make sure to get it under the skin, not in it. you'll want to feel the needle pierce through the skin. make sure to inject all of the vaccine. The best age to do it is seven weeks for large breeds and ten to twelve weeks for really small puppies then every two to three weeks until they've had all three "puppy shots", though the new owners will be responsible for the later two shots. also VIPpet (look it up for more details. and as far as I can remember they changed the name to PetVet or something like that.) does rabies vaccines for around $15 with no other charges if you decide to keep any. (a licensed vet has to do rabies vaccines.) oh, and make sure to handle them every day or they'll end up freaky. and never sell them before eight weeks and whatever you do don't sell them for less than $50 even if they're mutts. ever. free puppies almost always meet a tragic end.
      anyway, best of luck. :~)

      Not saying you did anything wrong, you were a kid, but if a mother rabbit does that, you should take each of them away as soon as it's born and keep them in a nest with a warm water bottle. Then to feed them, you can hold the mom on her back and place each baby on a nipple until it's fat three times a day. I did this with my roommates rabbit after she killed her first litter.

Lol this is why people shouldnt have pets becuase thier ass really dont care about the animals. Hes basically gonna let them die and not give a fuck about it like wow. Hes talking about letting nature take its course like he shouldve thought about that before he had them in captivity which is not natural🤔. I wonder if his mom wouldve let nature take its course and didnt go to the doctor what wouldve happened to his sorry ass.

    Also to the people saying it is cruel or harsh to eat bunnies....you do know we are omnivores right? We eat meat as well as other things to survive. Who are you to say what others can and can or should or shouldn't eat simply because it has a cute face? I myself do not consume rabbit meat or much meat at all, but I am not going to judge someone for choosing to do so to live. I mean where do you think your meat and other foods come from??? Farms such as this one. People all around the world consume different kinds of animals for meat to survive. It is the way it is. Not sad, not cruel, just life. Animals also do it. I believe you should respect the animal when it is alive(never eat a nurtured "pet")and when it comes time to kill it, do it as kindly and respectfully as possible as this guy seems to be doing. Be thankful for it's life and show it by action. That is all we can do. Sheesh. Not so hard to grasp.
