If Lego wants to keep the cost low then might as well just replace Iron patriot(don't get me wrong, I think it actually looks great) with the mk42
I can't believe they didn't do the Mark 42, I was super excited to get finally the two accurate armors of Tony and Rhodey on the movie in a set, but nope, they went for AoU. Also Pepper is fine but would have been better if she had the white outfit from Iron Man 3 as well. The set looks cool other than that, I'm so glad we are getting 2 Iron Patriots this year The price is a bit ridiculous tho

Shoulda been mound with specialized parts like dog pound but anywhere from size of leather head to hulk cool for iron man to fit inside but not necessary like the rest of the suits tho lots of ways they could’ve done it

Idk if you can do this anymore but I went to GameStop a while back and asked if they had any extras of the Silver Centurion or Iron Patriot poly bags and they just gave them to me. One store had just one of the iron patriots but another had 2 silver centurions

Most superhero sets nowadays basically come down to Mid sets with really good minifigures, And terrible prices for what you actually get.....there are exceptions but not many 😢

I completely agree that it should have been MK 42. The could have us3d the same helmet, and it would just be a recoloration of the print design. Alternatively, I would have loved to see an accurate MK 39 Star Boost. Love getting the MK 6 in this, too, though maybe MK 7 would be more appropriate since Tony did use it at the beginning of Iron Man 3. I also really wish they would stop reusing named character faces for other named characters such as with Killian here. A different Pepper Potts would have also been really nice.
I'm cool with them including the mk 6 so it's in a less expensive set, but this really should have had the mk 42 or maybe the mk 40... or really any of the 5 suits he uses in the fight with Killian lol (mk 33, 16, 40, 42, or 15, in order of appearance)

The gold suit from the last Iron Man mech (before the 2024 one) is probably the closest to an updated Mk42, and could swap them out (changing the helmet to the modern style too)

The new Iron Patriot is awesome. MK-6 looks great. MK-43 looks great, too. Pepper is a good inclusion, but I hate that shes still using Hermione's faceprint. Hermione's a teenager (at least what point in time the faceprint is representing for her). Pepper is a fully grown adult. Its extremely lazy on Lego's part. And, the hairpiece chosen isn't very accurate, either. Igor's inclusion is cool. The main Hall of Armor is really cool, tho; I like it. Dum-E is good. Can't forget about him. And Aldritch Killian is good, but the faceprint isn't very accurate, to be completely honest. Also, he could use some more Extremis details on his torso. Also, also MK-6, MK-43, and Iron Patriot deserve arm printing. I wish more Ironman minifigs had arm printing. I do think it would be amazing if Lego were to create a brand new shoulder armor piece for Ironman armors that are on the bulkier side, such as MK-42, MK-43, MK-45, MK-46, MK-47, MK-1, all War Machine armors, Ultron, etc. This armor piece would not have additional pieces or layers sitting over the torso piece. And, I'm thinking it wouldn't be too dissimilar to the Dark Trooper armor piece. Its just I feel something like this would elevate the look and accuracy of certain Ironman and War Machine armors and other characters, not necessarily Marvel characters. Edit: I do wish the MK-42 was included. It would've been awesome.

as cool as it is to finally have a new Iron Patriot, but WOW i'm not a fan of how thats the ONLY new actual suit here. Great that the MK6 is in a cheaper set but 1 actual new suit is a little disappointing to me. I think them adding in the Mk43 and Pepper was a huge mistake, especially since the former appears in a really cheap set, and the latter is really nothing that impressive And again, the price seems a bit much for what we're getting. I have no idea whats going on with Lego atm but a lot of these new sets are just wildly pricey for no real reason.
Its sad that there is only 2 new figures, one i dont care about (Aldrich Killian) and one i really want (Iron Patriot) and the rest we got from so many other sets. I really don't get why Lego hasn't remade the MK42 yet. all they have to do ironically, no pun intended, is take the MK43 design and recolor it and print it into a gold torso and gold legs. They don't even have to make a new helmet print as the 2 armors share the near exact same helmet design.

we are missing mark 4 the entire time to complete mark 1-7 hall of armor, yet they re do mark 3, mark 6, mark 7 about 2 or 3 times this time. whyy
