I have a similar one from my grandmother, although without the golden metal around the clock face. Has anyone ever tried to trace what musical tracks Junghans used with every clock? Mine doesn't sound like this one at all, but the spring of mine is significantly weaker so the speed isn't right.
Hi, From what i have understood is that people where able to order what songs they wanted the clock to play. I got help from a friend who studies music to identify the song in mine. With regards to the speed of your song. It is run by mechanical force and since the clock is old and hasn´t been serviced in probably 50 years it is getting gummed up. A watch or clockmaker can service the watch to make it run as it should. I studie watchmaking so i serviced mine by my self. Best of luck!
