My beautiful cat is in the last stage of his life with kidney disease. We are doing a bucket list for as many days as he has left. He has been uncomfortable and a little depressed. This afternoon I put this on my iPad for him. He watched from 4 feet away then snuck up on the birds on screen and stared. He was mesmerized. For 3 hours he has alternated between staring at the screen, and behind it looking for the birds, and to napping with his head close to the bottom of the screen. He is so content. Best bucket list day ever, Thank you for creating this. It will give my sweet old cat peace and comfort every day he has left 💛
That is so beautiful. I see this was two years ago, is he still around? The bucket list is an amazing idea, I had to get my boy put down almost two months ago, He was sick for awhile, he had cystitis, urinary tract disease and intestinal problems, we had it under control, I had planned a bunch of stuff to do with him but I didn't have time, it got bad so fast. :(

My 14 year old cat passed away earlier today. We all somewhat expected it and knew his time was coming. In his final minutes, we were sitting around him, petting him, etc. We noticed his eyes weren’t focused and he was looking at a wall so we pulled up this video and he seemed to enjoy it in his final few moments. 10/10, thank you for helping him pass peacefully.
I do t understand all these comments of how chill people’s cats are watching this. It got my cat going. I have to prevent him attacking the TV. Chills me out, though

I started off playing the videos for my cat, but have found that I enjoy them also. I have a new hobby now-looking up the different birds and learning to identify the breeds. It’s very relaxing, it’s got so we play these more then we watch regular tv!
That's a really good way to learn bird species. I commend you. I'm in US, but I saw most of these birds in the Netherlands. I find these videos very relaxing. A friend wants them for home, but doesn't have youtube on her tv. I downloaded some for her external hard drive to play on tv.

my cat has been having some trouble lately, she's less active but hasn't been sleeping much. I played this for her while I was holding her paw and giving her pets and kisses. she fell asleep purring, something she hasn't done for a few months. She's getting older now and I'm worried about my princess but this genuinely seemed to allow her to relax, she put her paw on the screen a few times. She's never hunted a bird she always played with them (she prefers mice) I'm just so thankful that this helped. Poppy (my princess poppy-cat the noble as I call her) loves this ❤❤❤

great video to watch very relaxingly and when the bird flew off my cat went looking around the room for it he was searching everywhere for it, my cat will not go outside because it's 5*C too cold for him, lazy male cat would rather watch me threw the window when I'm outside.
Yes my cat has to watch this at least two to three times a day and when I have my phone in my hand he will put his paw up and push the phone down to him and look at me like okay where is the bird show lol
Brought my little one to work with me. He's so well behaved that it's not necessary, but I put the video on my second screen for him and he just sits and watches like a good boy while I get my work done on the other screen. Of course, he'll make his rounds to the other staff to check in and see if they want to give him pets. It's just nice to be able to give him something to entertain him a bit.
I've been using this and other videos like this to keep my cat entertained while I've been retraining him as a house cat after a recent leg amputation. Though it doesnt put him to sleep or relax him much and I'm concerned for my tv's wellbeing.. its been a total life saver in the fact it keeps him from meowing a ridiculous amount because he wants to be free, which has lowered my stress levels so much. 10/10 recommend. this is maybe an odd remark, but thank you for the (usually) somewhat far distance from the birds to your camera - my cats watch this on a very large tv screen and like to sit up close, so it's easier for them to track the smaller/more distant birds instead of them (the birds) being gigantic moving shapes. i've noticed you use this method in a lot of your videos and wanted to tell you it's appreciated!

My iPad has been taken over by my 6 mo.old kitten. No matter what I’m reading he taps the screen to see if his fish game is going to show up. I’m thinking of getting him his own used iPad for his first birthday..LOL!
