I wish Collective Soul would've released their heavy-guitar version of this song on one of their official albums (studio LP or live). They played Hymn 24 in concert frequently from 1994-1996.

Nah maybe your ears need a cleaning. I ripped it straight from the CD; no editing involved. I'm learning to be a sound engineer so I'd definently know if something sounded off.
@@CSoulFans You tell him! Yes, this is the version right from Ed-E Roland, complete with the synthesizer and female back-up singer. The poster is probably used to hearing the "rocked out" version Collective Soul did in concert from 94-96. Two completely different styles of the same song.
