Daughter Sho Madjozi, unapologetically leaning on your ancestral traditions and culture will keep you flying high forever, in South Africa, the rest of Africa, the world, and even into outer space! Thank you for teaching our young people to remain true to ourselves, no matter what! Much love from Cameroon and Canada!
This is so inspirational she’s telling us to do what we love dress as we want and be proud of where you come from without being scared of being judged. Cause you only live once
@?? kona=here/there. Basically she's saying she's here she's there , as for the rhyming parts I'm not sure that's the basics and I don't want to insult Tsonga by saying something that may or may not be it's a very complicated ZA language we GOT 11 Languages I'm fluent in 7 and can just about get by with Venda and Tsonga. Trust me Tsonga and Venda are the most complicated ones with that being said Love 😍 SHO MADJOZI
I like the Tsonga culture. Actually I like the cultural diversity in South Africa. Tsonga, Xhosa, Zulu, Pedi, Ndebele, Venda, Sotho. The traditional dances and attires of these tribes are amazing. The beads, colors, design. Beautiful!!!
The video is so clean. Tsonga people are the kindest and happiest people in South Africa. They love (My school once went to Malamulele for a sports day I found a girl there and we dated all day long, it was the 1st and last time met(We both didn't have phones)) people. My grandmother was Tsonga and she was the most loving person I've known.
I've seen a lot of Tsonga dancers however I have never seen a xibelani being owned and controlled (moving) like that. These ladies are so damn good and very beautiful 😍😍
As a South African I am so so PROUD of our girl Sho Madjozi for staying true to her roots...You are representing us well in the world...❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🌏🌏🙌🙌❤❤👏👏
As an African American whose ancestors had their culture ripped from them, I smile so hard watching this, seeing the pride these ppl here are allowed to keep today.
Isandra Gabriela Simbo hopefully show biz here don’t change her or I hope she tries to stay away from those toxic people. Sadly that’s hard to do in that crazy industry.
I love how you are being you, you're not even trying to fit in, building your own bridges and roads... Proud of you, proud of sa, proud of Africa... Your bro from just across the boarder... Zim
Who said you weren't people. Please stop feeling sorry for yourself. I'm mosotho and I love all kinds of African music and unfortunately some of my family members think I'm weird when I dance to this song.
Us Tsongas are colorful ppul , we luv bright colors . Thnx Madjozi for representing us . Long ago Tsongas would hide their identities n that they are tsongas when they go 2 cities coz they wanted to fit in . Now shibelani went to the cities and even abroad 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Only a few people have been able to make me jealous that I don't belong to their culture. Such beautiful pride, she is amazing, I don't even have to be South African to celebrate her, proud of everything she does. Keep shinning lady
This is such a beautiful song. Why am I only discovering Sho Madjozi now ??! Her collabo with darassa is on repeat , wakanda forever . Keep spreading that love and positivity Maya.
She's basically saying she can get as far as she wants to (in terms of fame and success ) while still staying true to herself 😍. Kona means "there". So she's just repeatedly singing "There, I can get there" in the chorus. This is a very loose translation though. I'm SAn but I speak a different nguni language. I'm pretty sure someone will write out the direct translation soon. But I hope this helps 😁❤️.
"Hina hiwela hinkwako" we fall under every category, means that we are not limited you can find us everywhere, parties, where there's money, in the banks, businesses , entertainment etc.
I don’t understand her language but I love her songs. Where are Ghana 🇬🇭 peeps. Let’s show Sho some love ❤️ Edit: 1K likes 🤙🤙🏻🤙🏼🤙🏽🤙🏾🤙🏿 for Sho ❤️ pls 😃

Heads up to this woman, she's proud of her culture, herself, and being African, unlike some girls and boys out there who go to wits and start to act like Beyonce and J-Zee with a change of their accent to sound school-educated!
Im Nigerian. Ive loved you long timr Sho Madjozi, but My sister introduces me to Kona and she dances it so well. I think i do too but i just need to buy that Xibelani and dance to my heart's content 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾
I love that you all are unashamedly yourselves. Too many people in this world spend 99% of their time worrying what others think…the other 1% is sleeping. 👏👏👏💖
I LOOOOOOOOOVE it, I am Xhosa growing up speaking Sotho and I am from Free State. I maynot understand the language but my spirit connect to this song and I just love it tog...
Me and you are the same lol 😂 😂 Father is deep Xhosa and mother is Sotho but I mastered Sotho more. Can do basic Xhosa but not too much though. Think the problem was growing up in the Free State. It's the province of the Sotho. Things get awkward when I talk to my father's side of the family and they don't know Sotho.
It's Christmas and I've played it 8 time's already it's only 11:30am 😁 feel sorry for my neighbours it's Her and Magic System Gaou can't help myself 😁 😁 😁
My mom's Tsonga and my dad's Zulu I love both the languages and cultures and xitsonga is quite easy to learn ❤️💯 I'm greatful for sho madjozi showing people how amazing it is to stay true to who you are😍😍
I'm so proud of Sho Madjozi..she truly is painting a different picture for our lost generation. She's making me want to know more than I do with my (selobedu) culture.
Coming from an african american some words I know I can’t comprehend but the beat , video was everything 😍😍🔥seeing videos like Sho really makes me proud to vibe to my African roots 🎯👏🏾🙌🏾💕keep applying your pressure sus👏🏾✊🏾💪🏾
Love it! Firstly, I keep cracking up at the the thought of that old man with the cane grumpily walking past, completely unconcerned about the fact that you were filming. Haha.
