I like seeing an owner take pet ownership seriously. Begged the cop to smash the windows to save the dog. Could use more compilations of rescues like these, be it human or animal.

@@robdubent Uvalde Police. It took a civilian to do an entire department's job. An entire department that was already in the school! It's nice to see them actually doing some acts of kindness. But, sadly, their reputation has been heavily tarnished thanks to the officers who let power go to their heads. Weed out the rotten apples and infested apples to keep the rest of the bushel clean.

We need to remember that the overwhelming majority of LEOs do that hardass job because they value and want to protect life. And the officers in this video did that with kindness, patience, humor and not looking for attention or medals. Just looking to help and lessen pain and fear in innocent creatures. May they live long and fulfilling lives. The critters and the officers

The first time the show COPS came to my hometown of Sacramento, CA the police wanted to show that we were more than a cow town but a major metropolitan area on the rise.
One of the calls was to catch a cow that got loose.
They should do a follow up vid of all the dogs killed by police for one day

My question is what was the dog doing locked in the suv at the end? and why couldn't the owner unlock it?
Could’ve been fully electric locks. My little sister and my parents both have vehicles like that and they don’t even have the tabs or knobs to push or lift up on manually. It looks like the driver side door is down. Could’ve been how the owner got out and just didn’t have the ability to grab his dog in time.
they say the dogs shown in this video are the only ones police didn't immediately kill on sight in the history of policing.

... She didn't have a clue on how to rescue a deer, deers are skittish and are easily stressed and her yanking the deer out of the pool like that would have added to the already nervous animal's experience.
