      I definitely would recommend Sedona Lace brushes! I recently received mine in the mail, and I love them! They are great quality, and if you purchase the set that comes with 12 brushes, it's an estimated 8.33 per brush. Personally, I think that is an awesome price and these brushes are definitely my personal favorite. Their website is

      Love you💖

      brush recommendation : sigma brushes which are expensive but definitely work sooo well
      cheaper option is e.l.f. ( eyes lips face) which dont work as well but do work amazing for the affordable price

    I love the fact that you take the time to link all your products in the description in every videos. It helps soooo much and it just goes to show how dedicated you are to your RUclips Chanel. This was the first make up collection I watched to the end and was not completely bored of in the first 2 minutes and I thank you for that LOL

    I loooove your makeup collection (finally something realistic) some gurus have almost a mini store with tons and tons of makeup they don't use and just leave everything in drawers to expire. My make up collection is the same size as yours, it bugs me a little when I have pretty things that I don't use

    • @Angelokita0606

      I so agree! I think I have a teeny bit more, but I do makeup on my friends as well, so it's getting used most of the time lol. It's kind of odd to see those closets just made out of makeup.

    If you're looking for some brushes that are a good deal for the quality and quantity I recommend the Coastal Scents brushes. The 22 piece set is usually $40 but before the 31st of this Month they're on sale for $20! I'm ordering them soon and all the reviews I've seen have been good. Also real techniques brushes are nice, if you do get them get them at target because they're cheaper than on the real techniques website!

    finally!! a guru with a makeup collection the same size as mine! so many gurus have these ridiculous makeup collections, they could run their own mini sephora. thank you for showing that you can be a successful makeup guru without buying 75 different shades of the same eyeshadow just to let it sit in a drawer. i see some of these ginormous collections and it makes me feel sad about how small mine is. but seriously, theres just no way to use all that makeup every single day! makeup expires! especially when i have days where i just don't feel like putting makeup on at all :')

    • @ElaineMokk
      @ElaineMokk  10 лет назад

      Julie Brylinski LOL well..... I'm not a makeup guru.. just a normal person that cosplays :D! But I totally know what you mean! A couple of years ago the beauty community on RUclips made me think I had to have a mini Sephora to be satisfied.. Then I snapped out of it and honestly I'm so happy I never ended up with like 3 Ikea Alex drawers that are just filled with makeup ROFL.

They are super soft, really easy to clean and not that expensive. I know they sell them at Kohl's but I've heard people tell me they also sell them at Ulta. I highly recommend them

    I love Real Techniques brushes. They dry a lot faster than other brushes since they are synthetic. They don't shed. They're animal cruelty free. And best of all, they're affordable and the BEST brushes I've ever used. I love them even more than my MAC brushes. Also, the metal part, the ferrule, is super high up so you don't have to worry about water seeping in.

    I really like your attitude towards makeup. You are not hoarding and building a massive collection (and not using half of the stuff, besides liquids and creams expire quickly or dry out!). Instead you just use what you love, while still having a lot of options (MUFE Flash pallete an UD Electric). Thumbs up for this!

    Oh my goodness.. I didn't know bubbi brushes will be like that! Intended to get it, but I just had sigma brushes not too long ago that moment. And later on, got my MAC brushes. If you were to get brushes, I suggest you to get professional brushes from MAC or Shu Uemura since you are cosplaying as well. Far better than Sigma in my opinion and the prices are quite similar.

    Brush recommendation: coastal scents. Dude. Do it. Their brushes are wonderful and high quality without being uber expensive. My stepmom and I both have the coastal scents 22 brush kit and love them. They do have a few brushes that shed a little (the blush brush is the worst culprit), but overall the whole kit is great and is only $35 when it's not on sale (it's $20 right now for the New Years sale! Whole site is 40% off!!) I also recommend coastal scent's makeup. Their palettes are to die for, and they have great dupes for the urban decay naked palettes. Only thing is, their makeup isn't sold in stores, so you'll have to purchase their stuff online. Still, I seriously recommend coastal scents products, they're awesome!

    I totally recommend Elf Studio Brushes (all range from $3 - $6) and Real Technique brushes. Both you can get at Target, and I know for a fact Real Technique brushes (and kits) are sold at Ulta. Both are amazing and I've used them religiously!

    Aww, I'm sorry to hear about the bubbi brushes :s Guess you were the unlucky one? I actually got 2 of them and and they are fine. Unfortunately I don't have a particular brush recommendation because I rarely use brushes. But! I got myself the Bamboo brush kit from Walmart, they are not bad :)

    Some cheaper brush recommendations are BH cosmetics, or Real Techniques. :-)

    The brushes by beautyqq are a little pricy but feel great and wash easily. Also , the handle part of them work as face massagers . ^.^

      mlp ubbsessed love youtube I gave the spare from the advent calendar to a friend. I still use The Body Shop brushes I think I showed it in the video. But they're really great quality brushes. Just wished they'd expand on the variety of design and style of the brushes instead of sticking to the basics.

      I've been washing and drying my brushes (ELF, The Body Shop brushes, Eco tools) the same way for years and they're fine. Not sure what's with the bubbi brushes :/..

    hey elaine i was wondering if you bought your naked 2 palette for full price? im sure you're used to online shopping and stuff because you also buy a lot of things from overseas, but the palette is actually sold on ebay for like $7 !! ive purchased it two times and the first time i didnt expect it to be real, i was fine with buying a ripoff but its actually the real deal XD urban decay sells them for sooooo much money so i hope you've saved on it (btw i live in the gta too, shipping to here isn't too slow)

    I really love how your collection is so minimal, it really encourages me to use up what I have before buying new products!
    Your experience with Bubbi brushes is quite surprising/worrying... I was actually considering buying the set, but I guess I have to do more research. I have Real Techniques brushes right now and I wanna get more, but they're ALWAYS sold out at my Walmarts! >_

    Hey! A great brand and inexpensive brush set I got was the Shany Cosmetics 32 brush set on Amazon :) I got it for Christmas and role. I loooove them. Great quality and applies makeup beautifully. I just like them a lot :) sucks what bad customer service you got :(

    wow, i was shocked at your experience with the bubbi brushes, because i have five brushes from her old line that i bought right after she launced them (three years maybe) and they work so wonderfully well and i still use them and wash them and they are absolutley great! as for other brands og brushes i recomend real tchniques. i have many brushes from them too and they never let me down!

    • @utilka
      @utilka 10 лет назад +1

      I second that. My first set of bubz brushes works fine( not a fan of the angled kabuki for liquid foundation as it is a bitch to clean, the foundation resist washing in the centre though applies like heaven ; the double ended eyeshadow brush is my all time favourite. I have one in each naked palette, overkill much?😋, )I use real technique brushes on the face whether it's foundation, blush, powder or highlighter in liquid, cream or powder format.
