🎉FEEDBACK TIME! How do you feel about long pauses in narration, filled with just imagery and music? Super boring? Not boring at all? Actually a nice break to have? Only honest feedback please!
I think I wrote something similar half a year ago, that one 2 hour movie with just music and awesome landscape of North America, and lateron South America, would have some potential. So to answer this question, I feel good about some imagery and music without narration in a video. Sometimes maybe in the middle, sometimes maybe at the end, just not at the start - need some narration introduction I think.
When the scenery can speak for itself......The breaks are perfect. You could seriously have a companion video without commentary for immersion therapy 😊 Light music is nice if there is not much background sound.
Awesome feedback - thank you, Dave! @@burninoutloud We've actually been exploring creating guided meditation/ASMR videos, stealth-producing a few to gauge the time required, to see if its a viable side-channel to run (not good to become overly reliant upon one platform). We'll see!
I will honestly say that I have watched a ton of Alaska videos and I must say by far you do the best. The way the videos flow with the music and talking is fantastic. I feel like I am there with both of you. Keep up the great work and photography. It’s incredible ❤
Stunning scenery once again...the mountains simply draw me in every time! Great music and video and the narration is sublime. Thank you Cora and Jose for bringing my most beloved Alaska to the forefront of all with eyes to see it and ears to hear! I can feel the cold and smell the air during the long pauses ....amazing !
😊😊 We know EXACTLY what you’re talking about, Bob. When we watch these videos in the future, we’ll remember the soft sounds of the forest, the crisp feeling of the air, the whole beautiful bundle 😊❤️🏔️
Not boring at all! 🙌 I have been enjoying all the videos from your cross-country journey across Canada and into Alaska. Amazing images, informative content and beautiful sounds and music. The narration invites us to discovery while the pauses allow for the beauty we are witnessing to sink in. I’ve also been taking notes for my upcoming trip to Alaska and I am sure you are inspiring others to go explore this amazing land! Thank you for the great content. I look forward to following the two of you along your future adventures! 🚌 ☀️ ✌️
Absolutely spectacular! What a great day you had! Love that campsite, that will definitely go on my list. Thank you for that 👍. I’ll need to bring my fly rod on that hike. Where the stream empties into the lake was begging for some dry fly action. Those paddles 😂 what a classic. Cora, I think you got the high tech one compared to what Jose was using. Thanks to both of you for a wonderful video!
Your channel pop in to my feed yesterday, like all the other positive feedbacks, likewise here, awesome videos. Breathtaking ❤ thank you from Aotearoa.
It was difficult to leave Alaska in 2014, but watching your videos, it brings it all right back again! The smells and sounds I remember so vividly, and I absolutely love the geology lessons.
This hits home. Every day, I (Cora) am painfully aware that our Alaska time is almost up and I will miss it desperately. One day I’ll look back at these episodes and my heart will ache!

These short excursion videos are very enjoyable. Always left wanting more viewing time. Maybe, I should get my butt out in the wild more often. 😊
They are like little bites! :)
And to practically have the place to yourself, wow! That won't happen much in the lower 48.
