Well i did thought it was your own hair getting cut and that the other scenes was shot before the cut. And yes with a perfect cut bob you will be able to pull it off. Yes love all the series!
I have used a similar trick by setting the camera up in the same spot and having the talent do multiple lines separately in a video shot for my dad's TV class where someone's clone was after them. You also have to be super careful NOT to extend any part of your body into the next person's frame, or it will show up in the edit and spoil the illusion. As for the haircut scene, I have trusted my friend Danielle aka "Live In The Adventure" with my literal life on occasions when filming but not sure if I would trust her with a haircut. Kudos to your assistant for being brave enough to do that, even if it was just a set of extensions! It doesn't make it any less stressful.
At first, I thought that Anna’s real hair was cut. But, now I found out how she did it and it was hair extensions.. this clearly makes sense of why the other characters have long hair! By the way I am confused of who’s moms… Is Chloe’s mom Mrs S and Kayla’s mom Mrs M?, but I know the main character (Anna)’s mom is Mrs O. I recommend that instead of hair extensions, long hair wigs are better.
