- Just trying to make Sonic x Shadow Generations a little cooler.

I was listening to this fanmade Shadow the Hedgehog OST compiled by OfficialSegaMusic, and some of the tracks really resonated with me. So since SxSG is basically Shadow The Hedgehog 2, I figured I’d rescore the trailer with two of the tracks that I like from it (that I think are fitting). I couldn’t decide which one I liked more so I just put both of them.

Did you know? Yuji Naka wanted Sonic 06 to reach a wide audience. Naka noted the success of superhero films such as Spider-Man 2 (2004) and Batman Begins (2005): "When Marvel or DC Comics turn their characters into films, they are thinking of them as blockbusters, huge hits, and that's what we were trying to emulate with Sonic."
If that’s true then he definitely succeeded in achieving that feeling in my book. That’s why it’s my favorite Sonic game (from an artistic standpoint). It’s the most cinematic game out of all of them from not only the CG cinematics but the music too.

@@SuperFreddy64-mp5ew Out of all the games they should remaster, 06 is definitely the top candidate. It’s like the most obvious choice because it’s literally unfinished.

Also I would like a Mephiles boss too.
I could see that happening. But at the same time I feel like if Mephiles comes back I’d want him to come back in a big way story wise. Or at least have some kind of significant impact unlike the other bosses. Because out of all the Sonic villans Mephiles is the most dangerous one. Like he’s not just a one-and-done deal.

Sorry, didn't see this because RUclips hides comments with links in them (had to open Studio). But yeah, that could be one way to go. Like maybe unlike the other bosses he has some dialogue with Shadow both before and after their fight.
I've heard from others that Ian might actually be setting up Mephiles to be connected to the Time Eater, because he had a theory (before he was appointed as the writer for the games) that the Time Eater was leftover remnants of Mephiles, which would explain the purple color and its ability to manipulate/erase time. And now he's being involved with Generations, sooo. It makes you wonder.
Ian Hanlin (Voice of Prime Shadow) should voice Shadow in this game. Not Kirk Thornton, he should only be Orbot.
Even though Griffith will always be my Sonic/Shadow (not out of nostalgia like most people, I just genuinely like his voice), I'd definitely take him over Kirk.
@@anomaly395Yeah, I don’t like Kirk as Shadow, Jason and David are better for the role. Kirk is alright as Orbot though.
@@anomaly395 Did you know that for the most part, Japan had the same Sonic voice cast since Adventure 1 in 1998?
@@SuperFreddy64-mp5ew I didn't even know he was Orbot until now lol. Yeah, his voice there is more fitting for him.
And yes, I am aware of that. I wish the west was the same. But for some reason Sega feels the need to change voice actors every 5 minutes. It should've stopped at the X cast (imo).
@@anomaly395 Agreed. Also I’m a bit curious as to how Black Doom came back. I suppose either through Time Eater Shenanigans or him somehow surviving the events of Shadow 05.
