Naches at the sound of Hatikvah... and that moment is acted out in a major scene in the movie Exodus that you can't watch without feeling for those returning after ancestors were kicked out and then persecuted all over Europe until finally some countries had the decency to give a toothpick sliver of that land back.
The massive odds against Israel from the Arab League violating international law trying to eliminate and tiny Israel with a scraped together defense force still repelled them.
Had surrounding countries left Israel alone, the Six Day War wouldn't have happened, and Jerusalem wouldn't be Israeli.
The difference for Israel is losing isn't an option, and Israel doesn't go and try to overrun their neighboring countries.

This Spielberg story “forgot” to mention that how the new Jewish army while “defending” themselves attacked and persecuted 340 villages and subsequently demolished them with no right of return till this day
They should consider themselves lucky, if the Jews lost it would be more than there homes and buildings destroyed the Arab armies would have slaughtered everyone men, woman, and children as part of their Jihad against the Jews, so the fact they were allowed to live in that war considering they sought the Jews destruction is more than they deserve to be honest..
What you "forgot" to mention is that the arabs were the first to attack the Jews and just as 14 million germans were forced out of the land which wasnt germany post WW2, so did the arabs that were hostile towrads the Jews. Oh, and you also "forgot" to mention 2 million arabs live in Israel as full citizens, can you remind us all what happened to 800,000 Jews in Muslim/Arab countries?
And what about the Palestinians?
They were suckered into believing the lies of the Islamic Arab Nations that attacked Israel that when they kill all the Jews they would take the spoils...instead they lost got displaced and have been a tool as a thorn in Israel's side as eternal refugees the Arabs implanted there, if the Arab Countries really cared about the Palestinians they would have absorbed the refugee populations just like Israel absorbed the Jewish refugees fleeing for their lives from Arab lands

Except that returning NY to rule by Stone Age aboriginals would constitute the return to savagery. The creation of the State of Israel was the return FROM savagery.
Most Iroquois decendents still actually live in New York so why would they need to retake something they all ready have a part in ? And why New York ? How about partitioning turkey so its Kurds can get there rights and Greek and Armenians can be compensated for the crimes against them ?
