And every time people want to defend Salah or mane they say that unlike Riyad mahrez the Egyptian and Senegalese player are crucial for Liverpool. Well as we can see in difficult moments he’s always the one to bring tempo and good style to Manchester city. And even if pep always benches him, he manages to score, do key passes and assists. For example against Leicester in the disappointing 5-2 loss at the etihad he scored an absolute screamer and did a corner assist. While when Liverpool lost 4-0 to city, or 3-0 to watford, mane and Salah were just ghost players. Get a few touches and loses the ball. Still people think mahrez can’t compete with them. He’s crucial for both city and Algeria.
