I don’t think its overpowered they just added something very useful..things like this make the layup attribute more viable and valuable..just like pass accuracy matters for pass speed this year
It’s def not tyceno mostly plays 2s, much more space it’s still takes skill deciding when is the right time and these will trigger sum nasty contact layups if u do it at the wrong time.

Attention to detail is so beautiful this year. Feels very close to sim more than ever before forsure. You can get so shifty if you have skill with the dribbling, shot creation, and layup/dunk timing.

The scoop layups are just a stick input. You can do it with any layup package and rating I believe. The higher the rating the better

- Shooting isn’t easy but if you know your shot and practice a lot 2k will let you green anything this year, you can literally fade, stepback or pullup from anywhere if you hit that small green window
-Defense feels stiff in a good way and by that I mean your player feels grounded when moving side to side instead of sliding like last year.
-Left right cheese doesn’t exist because they only get 3 speed boosts but good guards always knew how to score in less than 5 moves so comp players will actually stand out.
-Blocks aren’t overpowered unless you have gold chase down and 90+ block making things like layups more viable.
-There will always be a meta but this year might be the most versatile in regards to playstyles since every height is competitive so you can win your way as long as you master it.
This game has a way higher skills gap than 16😂😂 what makes 16 so good in everyone’s mind
@@ianmcleod5649 It was the peak of all modes honestly. Sure there was cheese like every 2k but it was insanely fun. The way they kept the game alive with events and tournaments made it seem like the game was never going to get boring. Content creation was at it’s peak here too and the only other year competing with it in that regard is 2k20 with the whole wagers wave on twitch.

Layup timing is glitched in Online Play. Sometimes ill have a perfect fullbar release and itll register as "late"

Yeah I stated in the video I wasn’t sure of the exact number. You don’t need a specific package you just need your layup rating high enough. I started getting them somewhere around 80 when I switched to Jelly layup package but you def don’t need the package.

When they buff chase down or blocks in general it’s over because blocks in 23 are non existent at this moment
Blocking is in a good place rn. Just requires anchor/chasedown.
