Two vents connected together are, essentially, a pressurizing pass-thru. I don't use it inside ships, but I use it on habitation areas of stations on many planets. The one to the outside is set to depressurize. This gives the inside of the building a warm and breathable environment. I suppose in a ship, it could allow you to keep two areas of the ship separated with doors closed, and keep both pressurized, but if one gets breached, it won't depressurize the other side.
Hello Dave, I love your content and you’ve inspired me to want to play space engineers (once I can buy it). Please keep it up. P.S For some reason I am not getting notifications about your videos, and I've quadruple checked that I'm subscribed with notifications on. I just wanted to let you know that this is happening.
4:40 to 4:50 it’s a bridge airlock vent setup so the front of the ship and the bridge doesn’t depressurize when going out. It’s a poor design to save o2 and doesn’t work
There are two versions of that ship there's the original version which is what that frame is from and then there is the version 2 where they updated both the red ship and the blue ship scenario
I do not understand why you did not pull out the welder/grinder ship to make the repairs easier on the frame. There is also a way to place blacks while in it. Secondly, you could place the hanger doors horizontally instead of vertically and they would fit perfectly.
Not quite. The one with the long thin neck is the "Big Blue" ship, while the "Blue Ambassador" is shorter and thicker in the neck. The Big Blue's neck is pretty much just a walkway, intentionally thin so it snaps when rammed by the Big Red in the early trailers. The Ambassador is from First Jump, and was given a heck of a remodel for the Warfare 2 update - it's the star of that trailer.

Good point

you may have to shrink the hanger a little up front on the blue ship so you don't burn any blocks

It's gradually turning into more of an RGB ship?
Lol I guess so, it just naturally happened that way
your neck needs to be longer and the front head needs to be wider and taller n yes it is a hanger
