    Most of your points are spot on.
    Regarding the "clunk" on pull away though, 9 times out of 10 it has nothing to do with the drivetrain and is actually a worn A-frame fulcrum ball joint, cheap and quick fix to the dreaded 110/130 "clunk"...

    Very smart 90. I guess a 97 or 98 model. How many km on it? My 96 has approx 300k and the trim is falling apart. Rebuilt engine a few years ago and just had gearbox and transfer rebuilt.

      Thanks, well spotted it is a 97 model, has 330000 on clock, engine was replaced recently. Plan to redo upholstery and possibly gearbox too.

    Wish i had seen this video before i bought my defender... oh well, i learnt the hard way!
    Whats your plan with this vehicle? Restore it? Turn it into an overlander?

    I can't think of one single good reason to buy a Defender. Terrible vehicles.

      @@TheOverlandLegend Uncomfortable, expensive, maintenance intensive, unreliable and for less money there are so many Japanese vehicles that are reliable and cost a fraction of a Defender to buy. They are a basket case.
