Startling that "Chaplin" had a short run. Talent as great as Colella's and certainly Rob McClure's needs to be seen--and heard. This show really had something going for it. So, what happened? Critics finding it too "old-fashioned," not "cutting edge" enough?Even if "Chaplin" wasn't perfect--what show is?--performances as good as Colella's and McClure's alone should have been enough to keep it going. Why can't America know a good thing when it sees it?

So amazing. Seriously. I talked to her about that character voice during the original production at the La Jolla Playhouse in San Diego, CA and she said it was one of the most fun voices she ever learned. To this day she still nails it every time and completely blows me away with her talent!
